Here's the thing: I don't think Tashi and Patrick would have worked in the long run, even if Art hadn't meddled, because neither of them was willing to be a 'fan in each other's club,' which is why in a lot of ways their both drawn to each other – neither of them are gonna coddle each other, their going to call each other out on their bullshit, to criticise each other, to be each other's biggest critic and I think both Tash and Patrick are attracted to that, as well as attracted to the raw talent they both have. However, that doesn't mean they have the makings of a long term relationsip.

But don't get it twisted. Art did meddle.

I see a lot of people here wanting to make Art a passive participant in this, but he's not. Whether it's because he doesn't want to be left out or jealous (he wants Tashi, but he also wants Patrick), he deliberately planted the seeds of doubt in both Tashi's and Patrick's minds. Yes, they both clock it right away; Tashi says, "your a bad fucking friend", as well as what Patrick says in the churro scene.

He still ends up being the catalyst for the fight, putting doubt in both their minds that the other just isn't really into the thing they have together. As Zendaya herself says: Art is a snake. And here's the thing: they're all bad people at certain points in the film. That's literally the point; people don't have to write analyses as to why Art isn't. He's just as messy and ruthless as Patrick and Tashi are. The only difference is that Art is a sheep in wolf's clothing. He's not outwardly those things, but deep down inside he is.

For me, that's why the throuple works; they've all done shitty things and been shitty people to each other. But they need each other to survive; all three of them, they all need something the other brings to survive, that's why it's codependency the movie. We don't have to 1) make anyone the centre; they are all equally important to the throuple, and I need people to stop pushing out the POC women in favour of two white guys alone and 2) make anyone the victim or doormat.

A — Admiration . . . What Do They Absolutely Adore About You?

One of the things he adores about you is your leniency with everything. Your ability to forgive and be tolerant of certain things is really nice to him, since no one’s perfect and even Mike makes mistakes sometimes. Mike always assumed the worst whenever he messes up something small and thinks you’ll hold it against him, which is so far from the truth. He has to constantly remind himself that you’re not there to belittle him for everything, and it’s okay to tell you things.

B — Body . . . What Is Their Favorite Part Of Your Body?

His favorite part is your smile. You’re a silly person naturally, so a grin is always spread onto your face. He makes you laugh a lot, and you do the same for him. He’s definitely attracted to your happiness. Don’t even be insecure if you’re teeth may be crooked, if your lips look a certain way, ect. he does not care!! Smile all the time!

C — Cuddling . . . How Do They Like To Cuddle?

He prefers to cuddle with you sat up and seated, cause whenever you two do cuddle laying down, he falls asleep. He can’t help it! You’re comforting to be around.

D — Dates . . . What Does Their Ideal Date With You Look Like?

He’s content with anything as long as it’s private. On dates, Mike likes to give his sole attention to you and doesn’t want outside distractions or interruptions. He’s also not too particular with dates, but he does prefer calm ones. Although he doesn’t mind those crazier dates like rock climbing, clubbing, ski-ing ect. he likes ones where he doesn’t have to do much as well. Mike loves having fun, but he’s a homebody too. His ideal dates are picnics at the park, beach, or having a quiet dinner in a cozy restaurant. If your dates mostly consisted of eating inside either (or your shared) homes, he’d be fine with that too.

E — Emotions . . . How Do They Express Emotion Around You?

He’s a honest partner, but he’s not always comfortable with being verbally vulnerable. He doesn’t want to burden you with his issues or thoughts initially, so a lot of the times of when he’s upset, you have to look for any physical cues on him. Similar reasoning from letter A.

F — Family . . . Do They Want One? If They Do, When?

He does, but he isn’t sure when is the right time. With his career and constantly being on the move, he doesn’t know how he’ll want to balance work life and family life. He doesn’t work a office job where he can go in during the day and come back in the evening, he’s an actor! Actors schedules constantly shift and he may be expected to travel. You knew what you were signing up for when you got together with him, so he really wants to leave the decision of a family to you.

He has a great relationship with kids. Because of his energy and kind smile, kids naturally are drawn to him and want to play/hang out with him. He’s polite and super fun, and he’s also good at a lot of things. He’d be a great father, but he underestimates himself.

G — Gifts . . . How Do They Feel About Gift Giving? What Are Their Habits When It Comes To This?

He doesn’t mind giving gifts but it’s not his main love language. He’s the type of person where he likes to save gifts for special occasions so they can feel extra special. Occasionally, he might gift you something small and silly to make you laugh but the meaningful gifts are for certain occasions. He also entirely chooses your gifts for your benefit and wants, not his.

H — Holding Hands . . . When/How Do They Like To Hold Hands?

Mike is not a huge fan of PDA, but he’s not completely against it either. This doesn’t mean he’s not physically affectionate with you at all, cause that’s false!! He’s just not the type of guy to make out with you in public or grab your butt in front of friends… (I find those things corny.) Subtle affection like hand holding is great with him! He doesn’t mind holding your hand as you guys walk, sit down, or talk. He’s a private person, but he’s not gonna keep your relationship a secret.

He likes to interlock fingers! It’s comforting to him and if your walking through somewhere crowded, you won’t feel like you’re slipping away. He doesn’t like those hand holds where it’s him holding your hand and you’re not, or you’re holding is hand and he’s not, he likes to keep it mutual. One parter just holding onto the other feels territorial.

I — Injury . . . How Would They Act If You Got Hurt?

If you slip on the floor and fall, he’s gonna rush over and check on you with a smile cracked on his lips. He’s not doing it to make you embarrassed, he just finds it cute, in a way! If it’s funny, he’ll try to hold it in and make sure you’re recomposed. He doesn’t like to see you hurt at all.

Now, he’s not a monster! If you seriously get injured, he’s gonna be devastated! He’s a responsible person and when put in a panicked situation, he knows how to calm you and/or the area down. Not saying he won’t be stressed or alarmed, but he’s gonna take you to the hospital or doctor to make sure you’re alright.

J — Jokes . . . Do They Like To Joke Around With Or Prank You? How?

He definitely does, no question about it. You two joke around and share many laughs with each other. He doesn’t necessarily prank you crazily, but he does in a small way.

If you’re new here, Mike is a actor. A incredible one, and with being a actor it’s easy for him to tell little lies. Sometimes when he says things, you’re prone to believe it based off his face and tone. For example, he’d do those pranks where it’s “My gosh, [insert a celebrity you like] has just died!��� and you’d definitely become hysterical trying to find out if it’s true, the whole time he’s sitting there smiling internally as you’re freaking out. He doesn’t keep it up forever though and always comes clean, you’d complain but you’re not actually hurt. If anything, you reciprocate and pull mini pranks like that on him all the time. Yet, he’s skeptic whenever you try since you’re not as good at pranking him then he is with you.

K — Kisses . . . How Do The Like To Kiss You?

Now, a controversial opinion… He just loves those short kisses! Those kisses where he leans down to kiss you on the lips deeply but fast are his favorite. He likes to see your facial expression afterwards, nine times out of ten you’re grinning from ear to ear. He doesn’t mean pecks where it’s so quick the other partner can’t catch it, but the short regular ones. Despite this, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t love those long kisses either.

L — Love . . . How Do They Show They Love You?

Quality time is his favorite way! It sucks because sometimes he has to be away from you for periods of time because of his job, but it’s his favorite way of showing how he loves you. Mike can be anti-social sometimes and does cherish his away time, but quality time together is his love language cause it means he’s sharing his space and extra time for you. When you two are together, it doesn’t feel like a chore or obligation to be around each other. He genuinely enjoys your company, he wouldn’t be with you if he didn’t.

M — Memory . . . Favorite Memory Together?

Meeting your family was one of his favorite memories. You come from a big family and they were all so excited to meet him. Some of them couldn’t believe he was this star who could sing and dance as he was so bashful around everyone! He was super polite and warm to everyone. Your parents are obsessed with him and whenever you try to come around, the first thing they ask is “Where’s Mike? How’s Mike doing?”

When he was first invited to a family get together, he was set on making a good impression, and he sure did! He met and greeted everyone, he played with the kids for a little bit, he help set the table when your mother asked, he even sat down with your dad, uncles, and some other guy relatives and they had a drink and chatted. He came to have a genuine good time with them all, and was glad to hear that they like him so much, cause he was planning on being with you for the long run.

N — Nightmare . . . What Is Their Worst Fear?

Disappointing or not living up to certain expectations. Mike can be very tough on himself and underestimates his abilities. If you listen to any peer, actor, or even directors he has worked with, they all have such uplifting things to say about him. How Mike always goes above and beyond in whatever he does. He doesn’t just do this to please others, but he does it to please himself.

Before his career, it wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows for him, so working hard is always the mindset that he lives in. It’s a sense of security for him.

O — Oddity . . . What Is One Quirk They Have?

Most of the time, you can read what he’s thinking or feeling through his eyes. It’s not odd, it’s pretty regular but it’s much more intriguing from him. Mike has heterochromia which means his eyes are two different colors! It’s not something you see often but it’s not uncommon. Not only are they different but he’s naturally handsome as well and as luscious eyelashes to go with his eyes. You’ve learned that whenever he’s listening to something, he might not do the talking but his eyes will.

For example, if you say something totally unexpected, his eyes might widened and he’s gonna blink repeatedly. If you say something funny, he’s gonna chuckle and his eyes will squint. He doesn’t always realize you look in his eyes to read him.

P — Pet Names . . . What Do They Like To Call You?

He likes to keep it simple, he doesn’t do those extra cheesy pet names like “sweetie pie” and “boo boo bear” he can’t stand those!! A good go-to nickname for you is a short “Babe”. If you’re not really into pet names but you do have a nickname that’s known from close friends or loved ones, he can call you that too!

Q — Quality Time . . . How Do They Like To Spend Time With You?

He likes to spend it privately and not too much outside distractions. He wants all his focus on you to let you know that he’s listening and paying attention to you.

I really don’t have any reasoning for it, but this is my selection! Because Mike was into the older movies with Gene Kelly and more, I’d think he’d appreciate that older genre of music too. This is a slow yet lovely song.

Like stated before, he’s honest with you but it may take some coaxing for him to speak up. He’s good at acting and ignoring something, but after so long he can’t always keep it up, so you’re always bound to find out. As time goes on, he gets better at being more open.

T — Time . . . How Long Does It Take You To Get Together?

Surprisingly, he’s persistent. As much as he’s an over-thinker, he’s not gonna make any decisions he’s gonna regret if he knows he has a chance.

I definitely see you two starting off as friends and slowly falling for each other. It all really depends on the circumstances of how you two crossed paths for how long it takes for you to get together.

U — Upset . . . How Do They Act When You’re Upset?

His first priority is to comfort or calm you down. When upset, you’re not gonna always think rationally and he doesn’t want you to wear yourself out or do anything you’d regret. If there’s a issue, he won’t ultimately take over and help you, but he will assure and offer solutions if you need it. Sometimes, that’s all a person really wants when they’re upset and he realizes that over time.

V — Vaunt . . . What Are They Proud Of? Do They Like To Show You Off?

Despite his humble demeanor, he’s very proud and grateful for how far he’s come into his career. There was a point in his life where he felt like he wasn’t going to get as far as he wanted, yet he’s proven himself wrong.

He doesn’t mind showing you off at all! He loves you and everything you do. The reason he doesn’t have you out there to the public like crazy isn’t because he’s ashamed to be with you, but it’s because he values your privacy and his. Despite this, the instances where you two are put out in the spotlight, he’s making it known that you’re his and he’s yours!

W — Warrior . . . How Do They Feel About You Fighting? Would They Fight For You? Beside You? Ect.

Verbal or Physical, he doesn’t want you fighting at all! Mike likes to keep the peace in situations and feels that fighting isn’t the way to go. Although, he doesn’t want you to get walked over on and allow yourself to be backed into a corner. If we’re speaking about verbal fighting, he wholeheartedly supports you defending yourself and knows you’re an adult and you should be able to handle yourself. He won’t say anything but he will be alongside you to comfort you. Now, if it calls for it, he will defend you with no hesitation. If someone tries to insult/put you down while you’re not there to defend yourself, you bet he’s going to shut that down. So don’t even worry!

X — X-Ray . . . How Well Are They Able To Read You?

In the beginning of your relationship, it was so hard for him. At times he’d read too much and think the worst instead of coming up and communicating with you. Eventually, he’d get the hang of it all and now he can read you like an open book. He’s memorized your quirks and behaviors whenever you’re happy, sad, angry ect. and so have you for him.

Y — Yes . . . How Would They Propose To You?

Now, what some people may not know is that Mike has a pilot’s license! He wanted to make the proposal memorable for you and him, and he was wondering if he should do something totally different then you’d expect! With some coaxing from friends and his half brothers, they encouraged him to propose to you while flying! With some convincing, he pushed for you to join him on flying out. He assured you’d be safe and staged that his half brother couldn’t be his co-pilot and needed to go out because “he didn’t want his skills to get rusty.” You believed him obviously and followed through and as you two drove out in the air, he popped the question on you privately, handing you a ring box as he drove. You cried tears of joy and accepted his proposal.

Z — Zen . . . What Makes Them Feel Calm?

Knowing that you’re understanding and listening to him always. There’s a different between hearing and listening to someone. Sometimes, he feels invalidated on his wants and expressions therefore he doesn’t always outright admits to when he has a problem with something. You know he doesn’t like to ask for assistance or help, and will do it himself before anything. That’s why, whenever you feel or get a hunch that there’s something off, you immediately ask him if he’s alright or if there’s anything he’d want you to do. He appreciates it so much, and even if he declines your help and controls your worries, it means so much that you’re wondering how he’s feeling. To you, this is the bare minimum but to him, it means a lot.

— He hasn’t changed much since you two gotten married.

— He’s very bashful, even with you. You two could be together for days, months, or years and he still gets shy with certain things you say. He can’t always take compliments but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t like them. In fact, he loves to be praised by you. You’re his biggest cheerleader.

“Here you go.” You smile as you hand Mike his water bottle, he had no hesitated in politely accepting the bottle and offered a breathless ‘thank you’ in return. The two of you were currently at the gym, both of you having some free time and decided that it would be a healthy bonding experience for both of you. It took a while to set in motion this plan for the reason that the both of you were home bodies. Preferring to stay inside then to get up and out there.

“I think I’m finished on the bike for tonight. I reached my limit!” You explained in a tired tone as he set the hand held weights on the ground that he was holding previously to take a sip of his water.

“Cool. We can head out now if you want.” Mike suggested, not wanting to make you wait around for him.

You shook your head. “It’s no problem! I’ll wait in the lounge area and relax while you do your thing. Besides,” You made a sly expression. “You look so attractive working out!”

“Shut up!” Mike said immediately. He looked down at the weights beneath his feet as you laughed and walked away. A smile spread across his face.

— Not to mention, he’s your biggest cheerleader too! Sure, you two do friendly banter a lot, and he’ll tease you with nicknames but never will ill intentions or to put you down in anyway. He’s aware of your achievements and your talents. As much as he doesn’t always take compliments, he loves to give them.

— He’s a gentlemen, through and through. Opening the doors for you, giving you his coat/jacket if you’re ever cold, walking on the side closest to the road whenever you two are on a sidewalk, ect.

— Till this day, you always feel a bit fuzzy inside for all the little things he does, but to him these are just acts that are same old, same old to him. It’s his love language, and how he expresses his affection!

— Another way he expresses his affection, is through physical touch. Not in a crazy way like “I need to kiss you all day and basically be in your skin.” but he likes that subtle physical touch. Not saying that he doesn’t like to kiss you, because trust me he does.

— He likes just being side by side with you, just the warmth and the closeness is nice to him. It used to have him flustered being so close to a girl he really likes, but now that you two are married, it’s not a stress to him anymore.

— He thinks being side by side is great, it’s easier to talk to you that way, and let’s him get a look at you closely. Let’s him take notice of the gloss that is shining on your lips, or the way your eyelashes may be curled more than usual, things like that. If you two are in a booth at a restaurant, you bet he’s gonna slide in the booth right next to you, instead of across.

— Hand holding is a big thing for him too. He holds your hands no matter how he’s feeling. It brings him a sense of comfort. He isn’t a huge PDA person, but he likes the little sweet things like that.

It was a starry night as you and Mike sat side by side, in front of a backyard campfire while talking to a couple of friends. Autumn was rolling in and nights were becoming colder. Everyone had a warm drink or a beer in hand, reminiscing about anything and everything with each other. Just having a good time.

“Scooch closer.” Mike complained to you quietly, not wanting to interrupt the conversation that your friends were having. “You’re shivering like a chihuahua!”

“I can’t help it!” You muttered before coming in closer. The both of you were bundled up in some jackets, but after basking in the summer sun for months, the new coldness of this season is gonna take some getting used to. As you moved in closer to him, he moved a bit on the bench himself and stuck one of your hands into his warm pockets. You thought how sweet of this was of him, and how come men always get warmer and thicker clothing then ladies do??

You smiled up at him as you leaned your head on his shoulder. Sharing his warmth and listening in on your friend’s conversations.

— Everyone always talks about how you and Mike are both clowns. Always dropping jokes in any situation and matching each other’s energy. You and Mike aren’t at a function if you two aren’t laughing or making clever quips about something.

— You just can’t help yourselves. You guys don’t try to present yourselves as being inconsiderate, but that’s just how you guys are wired!

— Most the time it goes that Mike says something witty, and you laugh about it and have to finish it off. He than eggs it on and it’s just loose from there. Some people don’t know that you and Mike were friends before your relationship, and still are now. He says till this day you’re his best friend.

— It’s already enough that you two have inside jokes, like if something happens and you two give each other the look, then start busting out laughing. It’s a common occurrence. People either love it or hate it and that’s not y’all’s fault!

— Joking around and the occasional gossip is how you to spend quality time together. Which is another one of his love languages.

— The down side about this is, a lot of times you two will have to go through a long distance relationship. He’s an actor and they demand him to be in many places at once. You don’t like it, and neither does he, but you make it work.

— The two of you video chat all the time when he’s away. You talk about each other’s days and experiences, whether it’s meaningless or not.

— Whenever he’s away, you guys gossip and do skincare stuff over the phone. Mostly it’s you doing your skincare while he’s just watching you talk. He’s still involved in the conversation though!

— Although he loves when you come and visit him whenever he’s away, he loves it most when he’s home. Mike is very much a homebody, he likes staying in and not having to go out super often.

— In his earlier years, he was really career focused and hardly had any time to relax and take a moment in. Now that that he’s older, and still working, he’s not afraid to wind down sometimes and take a break.

— He definitely rubbed off on you, because you enjoy staying in now too. Cuddled up together watching TV, or cooking together in the kitchen while some jazz music plays, it’s the dream.

— Of course, you two don’t mind getting dolled up and fancy to go out somewhere exciting, but the best moments are at home where you’re comfortable.

— Just Him, You, and his dog Austin. (Sorry, You’re gonna have to be a dog person!) Just relaxing in a cozy townhouse, watching movies.

— Since Mike has quite a bit of following, and has made a career of himself. The press and his fans are aware that he’s married.

— We’re all aware how Mike isn’t a social media user, or doesn’t speak much about himself to the press because he likes to keep his life private. Yet, that doesn’t make you two a secret. He just doesn’t want all your business out there.

“Welcome Mike!” The interviewer greeted happily to to the actor over the screen. “Thank you for joining us today, how’ve you been?”

Mike was scheduled for a video interview, even though covid wasn’t as hectic now, he still likes to be safe and doesn’t wish to travel as much if he doesn’t have to. Plus, video chatting is becoming more normalized now. “Hi, thank you for having me and I’m doing great.”

“Good, are you finally back home with your family and all that?” The interviewer questioned.

“Yeah, I just arrived back from London, two weeks ago? Although I love working but I love to be home too. To see my family, friends, and get back to my wife and such.” Mike explained. He wouldn’t say he would get homesick, because of how passionate he is about what he does, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t home greatly.

The interviewer smiled a great deal. “Yes, I totally get that! I can see the photo of what I think— is you and your wife, in the back?”

Mike looked over his shoulder to see a photo frame on the console table behind him. It was decked out in small photos as well as some decorations that were relevant to the season, all by you of course. He reached behind him to bring the photo frame up close to his laptop screen.

“Yeah this is us right here. This is one of the photos from our wedding.” He pointed out. Showing off the photo closer a bit before setting it back down to where it was.

“That’s so cute! How long have you two been married? If you don’t mind me asking.” The interviewer inquired.

“About a year now. It feels like only a few months honestly. Time flies for sure.” Mike chuckled a bit. The interviewer chuckled alongside him.

“Especially when you’re in love! Time going fast is a great thing.” The interviewer added.

“I couldn’t agree more.”

— He doesn’t nor ever want to hide the fact that he’s taken. He’s proud of his relationship with you and if people don’t like that, then that’s their problem.

— If you have a wide social media following (In case you are celebrity!) than you don’t hide the fact you’re together either. If this is the case, fans actually adore you because you’re the one posting him, providing the fans some content.

Mike Faist x Female Insert! Reader

SYNOPSIS! ✦ Headcanons of you and Mike as parents!!

WARNINGS! ✦ If you don’t like children then you probably don’t wanna read this, none, sfw!

NOTES! ✦ IM SORRY ITS BEEN SO LONG & I LOVE THIS REQUEST. I have some draft ideas and i was thinking of making a series of Dad! AKA husband! mike, gonna make the reader female insert + I have name ideas for their possible kids. As for now, keeping the kids names and details vague as possible. Sorry that this is kinda short!

Mike Faist Masterlist .

— Very ecstatic the minute your child was born. When word got out to him that you were in labor, he dropped everything and rushed to get you.

— The baby’s birthday would be a moment in history that neither you or him could forget. A day filled with so much long awaited anxiety that blossomed into an overwhelming amount of joy.

— After you, he was the first person to hold the baby. He smiled down at them with tearful eyes, heart filled with love and adoration. He didn’t want to put the baby down at all, as he kept muttering “Thank you.” and “I love you.” to you as you smiled exhaustively.

— When it was time to bring the baby home, he was so happy. He had the car all ready, than opened the door for you to sit first while he installed the baby carefully into the car seat. Gentleman through and through, after all those 9 months during your pregnancy and the demanding 12 hours of labor, he just wants you to be as comfortable as much as you can.

— One thing about you and Mike, you both like to be prepared and ahead. Already was the nursery set up, as well as some warm pajamas, and extra necessities you needed for the baby’s stay.

— He knew this day was coming, so he decided to decline any future projects that he didn’t sign up for yet that requested him, so he could be there for you and the baby. You stated multiple times that he didn’t have to, but he insisted.

— He couldn’t keep his eyes off of the baby, it felt surreal that they were out of your stomach and out in person.

— He’s catering to the baby all day, letting you get your rest. You have to tell him a couple times to let you help!! You don’t want him to overwork himself.

— The baby-toddler phase is his favorite despite the sleepless nights, dirty diapers, and reckless wondering. He loves this kid with all his heart, he wouldn’t mind more but he’s fine with just one for now.

If You Two Had A Boy . . . !

— Your son is such a curious little being. He’s a joy and loves to learn and talk about everything and anything!

— Your son’s personality contrasts a bit with Mike, Mike has a reserved demeanor and can get shy sometimes, while your son is very bold and outspoken. Despite that, the two click very well. Mike is a great listener to your son’s stories or questions about everything, he’s never gonna leave your little boy unheard. Even if your son has a million questions to ask, Mike is gonna listen and try to answer all of them.

— Mike doesn’t really baby talk, so it feels like a natural conversation at times. Of course he knows what to and what not to tell a kid, but he thinks baby talk isn’t really helpful. Especially because you know how kids vocabulary is in the beginning, he thinks baby talk could get them mixed up and stuff. You love to see the boys chat together just casually in the car, despite your son’s speech not 100% perfect like an adult, Mike still responds back and can understand him, on the occasion he’ll correct his way of words kindly.

— Mike isn’t a big sports buff, but he’s still really into it and doesn’t mind getting his son into it too. A sport he quite enjoys is baseball, so he’ll take his son outside to play catch. How they play is fun to see, especially if your son is younger and you see their height difference! It doesn’t faze your son though, Mike’s a great teacher and gives him all the best tips. He even takes your son to a park to play sometimes! (They were forced to go after accidentally aiming a ball through one of your windows!)

— Both your son and Mike are your biggest fans. Occasionally they bicker between each other on who you love more, and you always jokingly pick the dog. Even when they do playfully bicker or fight, you’ll be on your son’s side because he’s your baby boy! Your son thinks it’s funny whenever you coddle him and beg him to be little again, he always retaliates with “No, no, I’m a big kid!”

— Whether your son gets into sports or anything else like the performing arts, Mike is gonna be over the top with support. Always at games or recitals, asking them if they’ve done enough practice, and so on. He’s definitely the type of dad where if the kid likes it, he loves it. You’re the exact same way.

If You Two Had A Girl . . . !

— Your sassy ‘mini-me’!! She’s also very curious and talkative, and a bit of a fashionista!

— Your daughter likes to know everything and always wants to have her way. Again, she contrasts Mike a bit. Although, they have a great relationship! Your daughter loves Mike more than anything, and she’s always calling him to the rescue whenever she needs it. He’ll never deny helping her, but there are a few times where he has to put his foot down for whenever she doesn’t get her way.

— No matter what gender or how many kids you have, you’re the one who might have enabled the spoiled-ness, but you can’t help it! They’re so cute, how can you ever deny these kids?!

— You love to style her outfits and hair so she can have a cute yet comfy look! As a toddler, she’s always on the go and you don’t want her all decked out knowing she’s going to be running around and possibly having some spills. As she gets a bit older though, you’ll learn that she loves to dress up!

— Your daughter loves the compliments, especially from her dad! Every time he’s home and she shows him her outfit or a new hairstyle, she’s always asking “What’d you think Daddy?”

— And every time, he’s going to give her a compliment and a kiss on the cheek. She doesn’t mind spinning around for him to see or pointing specifically to her favorite accessory that’s on her outfit. You two laugh at her enthusiasm and don’t mind hyping her up! Even though she’s sassy, she’s not impolite and she’ll always say “Thank you!”

— Like stated way above, Mike and you are gonna be one of her biggest supporters in whatever she’s into as she gets older. Sports, Dancing, You name it! You guys may not be experts at everything, but whatever your kids need, you two will do it. <3

You stumbled into the suite with Mike hot on your tail. Your cheeks hurting from all the smiling and laughter that you had from earlier. The both of you high off of positive energy from the reception. Alcohol and cake buzzing in your system.

You flopped yourself onto the bed with a laugh, nothing was particularly funny, but you were filled with so much joy. Marrying your best friend, your family and his showing their love, amazing food, and your dream wedding, it couldn’t be anymore perfect. You would definitely count this as the best day of your life.

Mike flopped down alongside of you, basking in the comfort of the bed and of your presence. A smile spread wide on your face before he spoke.

“What’re you smiling for?” He asked, not aware a smile was creeping on his face as well. You leaned over a bit on top of him.

“I’m smiling about how comfortable this bed is— not the fact that I just got married and had the time of my life!” You retorted. “I can’t believe you’re asking me that right now.”

“I know, I know,” Mike chuckled. “I’m just teasing. We’re married now, you’d think you’d be used to this.”

“I’m used to it alright.” You smiled while giving him an eye roll.

“What we’re you thinking about as you were walking down the aisle? Be honest.” Mike changed the subject. He was staring up at you dreamily, but his tone was a bit more serious.

You rested your head on your hand while looking down towards him. You thought back to the hours previously from the wedding and trying to remember what was going through your mind. It took a second to think from the alcohol in your body, as well as the sight of Mike looking so handsome near you.

“I won’t lie, I was tearful a bit.” You answered.

“I noticed.” Mike added.

“Not out of sadness though, but I was definitely overwhelmed. I was really happy, and anxious, but mostly happy.”

His face fell into concern. “Why were you anxious?”

“I don’t know…” You expressed sheepishly. “Maybe that’d you say no? I think I was just fearing for the worst at any moment, cause anything could happen.”

“That’s understandable, but I wouldn’t have said no. Especially if I’m the one who proposed.” Mike insisted.

“It can happen…! Yet I’m glad it didn’t. It was just my mind trying to stress me out.” You assured him. “Plus, I wouldn’t have let you say no anyways. I would’ve chased you cause you’re my boo!” You smiled while playfully caressing his cheek. Mike grumbled and moved his face away from you.

“Don’t call me that! That nickname is corny.” He ordered. You ignored his complaints and kept teasing him.

“Sorry… boo!” You egged on before laughing at yourself. Mike found it funny how you could always find yourself so amusing from the simplest things.

Mike laughed a bit alongside you. “You play too much, and you think my teasing is bad.”

“This is why we’re a perfect match.” You grinned.

“I guess you’re right.” He expressed happily.

As he was talking you started glancing down more to his lips, no matter how dim the room was, the color of his lips still radiated a pink tone. Maybe it was the alcohol, but has his lips always looked so warm?

“Oh, I have a surprise for you.” Mike realized and began to lean up away from the bed. A slight feeling of disappointment washed upon you since you wanted to just lie there and look at him all day.

“Surprise?” You said curiously.

“Yup. Let me go get it.”

He swiftly got up from his spot and went to a different room. You rose up from your spot.

“You didn’t have to get me anything!” You called out. “You know I don’t like surprises.”

“I know, but you’ll like this one.” He answered from the hall. You shook your head with a smile and sat patiently. You weren’t going to put up a fight, how could you deny anything from him?

A few moments later, he walked back into the room with a beautiful crafted acoustic guitar. He sat on the ottoman across the bed. You gasped pleasantly.

“What is this?” You inquired with an amused smile.

“I know I sing on the occasion, but hardly ever do I sing for you.” Mike said bashfully while tuning the guitar. “So I decided to do a little something, last minute.”

You didn’t know if you wanted to smack his shoulder at the “sing on the occasion” remark, because Mike has been on broadway more than once or if you wanted to jump on him at the sweet thought. You couldn’t do anything but to beam brightly.

The guitar was gorgeous. It had a simple look, but it looked very pristine in his hands. It was cream colored, with the sides sleek in brown to compliment the look. You couldn’t look closely at the guitar, but the strings looked to have a gold tint.

“Mike…” You smiled. Even though he didn’t even start performing yet, you were already impressed and swooned with him. “You’re too sweet.”

“Only for you.” Mike replied. You knew he was just fibbing, he was sweet to anyone who passed him. You weren’t going to rebuttal his statement though. You could only reply with a smile, cheeks becoming sore from all the joy in your face. He didn’t need a verbal response though, and began to look down to the guitar, strumming the beginning chords.
