Hello! I'm a journalist working at the intersection of journalism, audience and product. Currently, I'm a senior editor for storytelling and training at The New York Times. Before that, I was at The Washington Post, where I worked as a senior editor in the audience team. I have worked in ProPublica, where I ran the Electionland project, which won the ONA Award for Excellence in Collaborations and Partnerships. Before that, I was a general assignment editor focused on emerging news products at Univision. There, I developed new storytelling formats and engagement projects, and experimented with distribution channels to help create a more meaningful relationship with the Spanish-speaking immigrant community in the U.S. A feature I wrote about the language barriers that affect Spanish-speaking victims of domestic violence was awarded with NAHJ's Elaine Rivera Civil Rights & Social Justice Award (2017). I have covered Latin American and Transportation stories for Quartz; In Spain, my writing has been featured in El País, El Diario, Soitu, SModa, Salvaje and Condé Nast. I'm a Fulbright scholar and a Tow-Knight Center fellow.
