All these highgrade drinks going around got me thinking… If Skyfire were to drink, which he doesn’t, but let’s say if he was it’d be like near impossible to get him drunk considering he’s a big boy unless he was to drink a lot of highgrade, which knowing him wouldn’t happen. Not to say he can’t get drunk, but it just would have to take a lot of drinks for it to happen since he’s big and all. So please never try to outdrink him if you’re smaller then him because you’ll most likely lose and he’ll have to carry your sorry ass home, which he probably won’t mind. 

When he does become drunk he becomes giggly and sometimes silly. He’ll be a hell of a lot more relax and more receptive to touching and affection. He’ll also will probably ramble and have a have a hard time shutting up, but he’ll apologize and keep apologizing for apologizing so much. So basically he’s a fun drunk. Just don’t make him sad and we’ll be good because he might cry and we don’t want that.

Also, my friend @konawiz8 gave me a starscream figurine today, so I took him out to touch grass. I'm currently making him a therapy chair, I'll show when it's done.

Safe For Work (SFW) Asks Meme.

L = Love(When do they say they love you? How often do they say it? Do they prefer to say or show it?)

Hmm.. That’s tough to say because as I said, Skyfire is still figuring out affection and whatnot and what comes with it. He probably won’t say he loves you until he is absolutely,100% sure that you feel the same way about him. Yes. He’s one of those types that will “beat about the bush” as they say because he’s never been in love before so he doesn’t know how to go about it. That and he doesn’t want to make an absolute fool of himself and tell you how he feels and find out that you don’t feel the same. He will keep his feelings and thoughts to himself unless he’s sure or picks up clues that you love him as well, which may be hard considering he can be oblivious at times so who knows. 

Once he does tell you he loves you though, be prepared to hear it often but not in the same way. He will tell you he loves you in different ways such as him telling you he loves you, him kissing you out of the blue and in random places like the lips, cheek, helm, servos or if he’s feeling brave; audials, neck and or sensitive areas he’s learned about. He will make you things in his spare time that are within your interests because he pays attention to that sort of stuff. He will want to spend time with you doing whatever and whenever. It could be just spending the day lounging about or perhaps going out at night and stargazing. As long as it’s with you, he’s happy.

As for whether he prefers to say it or show it, he does a little of both because he feels a mixture of both ultimately gets the point across that he loves you with all his spark and he wants you to know that.

O = Out of the Ordinary(What’s something they don’t normally do with/for their s/o?)

That’s tough to say. I guess maybe once he’s comfortable enough to allow it and knows his S/O wants to, he’ll allow them to touch him. Not like overly intimate that will possibly lead to interface or something (maybe?) but just to get him use to it. Another thing maybe is flying? He usually does that alone and even then he rarely does it as is. He wouldn’t mind taking someone for a flight though, especially if they’re a grounder since they can’t fly. He has thrusters so if he wanted to he could carry them around in his arms or if they were small enough they could travel inside him, but that may be weird? I don’t know. He’s done it before, so maybe not.

V = Vulnerable(How long until they can be vulnerable around their s/o? What are they like in this state?)

Technically he’s vulnerable now in a way since he’s new to everything and is learning how things work. He’s never been in a relationship before as I said, so he has no idea how they work or what you’re suppose to do with them. Affection is a mystery to him and something he’s trying to work on as well as learn. He can’t even do a simple kiss without going into a massive blushing fit, so I mean.. Yeah. He’s very vulnerable. He’s trying to get better about this though and trying not to be so shy and such, but it’s a work in progress. Basically though he gets very fidgety and nervous and will start to blush. A lot. He will start to stutter like crazy and his wings will dart everywhere. He will want to run and hide and will probably do so unless you stop him. There are rare occurrences where he may stay, but those are rare.

E = Effort(How much effort do they put into a relationship?)

Depending on how much he loves you (which will probably be A LOT), he will put everything he has into the relationship and I mean EVERYTHING. Granted he’s never been in a relationship before and is still learning about them and he feels you’ve probably should had picked someone else besides him, he will love you with his entire being and he will let you know that every single day even if you tire of it. You are his life. You are his hope. You are his adventure. You are his everything.

And he can not wait to spend the rest of his life with you, whatever may come. The ups and the downs. The twists and the turns. He will face them with you. No matter what.

Since I’ve noticed Skyfire doing this a lot lately and it’s been on my mind, I think it’s high time I wrote a headcanon about him and his stupid habit about messing with his servos. I don’t know if it’s apparent but Skyfire does suffer from Anxiety. Given his background, it makes sense I guess? He’s a wallflower. He was never noticed much and was always in the background, which he’s fine with. He doesn’t mind.

Because he suffers from Anxiety though, he has a habit of messing his servos. A lot. To the point where sometimes he doesn’t even notice unless you either point it out or he looks down and he notices it himself. Now it gets really bad sometimes and I mean really bad. He has a tendency to get a little too overwhelmed and will literally start to hurt himself. Not on purpose mind you, but accidentally. Yes. He will literally start to strip paint off his servos if you do not pry his servos apart or he does it himself. If it gets really bad and he has done this before, he will disconnect a digit. That’s right. He has popped a finger off before because he let his nerves get the best of him. It was of course reattached, but this is just how bad his anxiety gets. He hasn’t done that since, but that isn’t to say he won’t do it again.

So if you ever see him messing with his servos, you should probably get him to stop or take that as a sign that he’s getting nervous aka his anxiety is starting to get to him. If you don’t want him to hurt himself, give him something to mess with like maybe a stress ball or something equivalent to that because like I said, if he continues to mess with his servos and he doesn’t show any signs of stopping, he will start to hurt himself. Skyfire is intelligent as all hell, but he is also a dumb. Please forgive him.

⚠ : How does your muse react to possibly dangerous situations? Do they face them head-on, or do they plan out their actions first?

Random Headcanon Meme.

Skyfire strikes me as the sort of mech that would plan out their actions first then face them head-on. After all he is a scientist, so of course he’s going to use that noodle of his to good use. It just makes more sense to me. He likes to be careful, methodical and likes to plan ahead if he can. That isn’t to say he can’t be spontaneous, but this is a dangerous situation we’re talking about here and this requires some wit and ingenuity which he’s good at.

That reminded me– I want to take a second of your time to remind you of something or rather put something in perspective.

Essentially when I say that Skyfire lost his memories from basically all the way to the point of the accident (accident being him getting trapped in the ice), I mean that he lost everything. He not only forgot who he was or the bots he knew, but he forgot the things he learned as well. That’s a lot of shit to forget considering he was/is a scientist and he went to the academy for what.. 7000+ years right (I could be wrong about this, please forgive)? So yeah. Imagine having to relearn all that shit. Which is what he did. Yeah. That’s right. He relearned all that shit over again. 7000+ years of shit he relearned of science. While on Earth. By himself. With some help from Ratchet, but mostly by himself. If that doesn’t prove he’s smart as fuck, then I don’t know what does. And I’m not just talking about one branch of science either. I’m talking about multiple branches of science, because he knows chemistry, botany, engineering, philosophy, physics, astronomy, mathematics, biology, etc. He’s a scientist. He knows shit. He’s just as smart as Perceptor, Brainstorm and Wheeljack and all the other nerds, but because he’s always in the background or getting overshadowed, people tend to forget this.

So yeah. I just wanted to mention this because I feel this is important (and it is). This not only shows how smart Skyfire is, but how quickly he can learn or in his case, relearn. Thank you for coming to my ted talk (and for reading this if you did).

I really wanted to redraw the part of s01e14 where Starscream grabs Knock Out’s face but in reverse… And since I posted fluff for day 13, I thought an edgier illust would be a fun contrast! I think they do love and care for each other despite being bad (SS) or weird (KO) at showing it, but both of them are still Horrible people with Problems so there’s also a lot of uncertainty and resentment between them.

Given their interactions in canon I feel like Knock Out has more to seethe about than Starscream (who rarely got mad at KO directly and more just doesn’t know how to not take his stress out on other people), but I don’t think all of KO’s grievances are valid LMAO It felt to me that he caught feelings (platonic and/or romantic), and when that energy wasn’t clearly reciprocated, his petty and narcissistic ass took it very personally.
