Sailor Moon Gloves

Probably the easiest part of the cosplay is making these gloves. Knowing how to make gloves is very important to know for basic cosplaying. 

Now, remember to make sure the gloves are the correct length.

Sailor Moon Bows & Brooch

I find that between the bow and the gloves, both are very easy and simple to execute. Here are two tutorials:

Now in the center of the bow is a button/brooch. I recommend make it out of polymer clay and painting it.

Sailor Moon Choker

Around her neck, Sailor Moon is wearing a red ribbon choker with a moon charm attached. You can either buy or make the choker which is really simple to do.

Buying:

Making:

Supplies

Red Satin Ribbon (make sure it is the right size for your neck) 

 Moon Charm [can be made using clay or any other method you prefer]

 Methods 

1. Take the charm and you can glue it in the middle of ribbon. I recommend gluing it on the back so all you can see is the charm and not the glue. 

 2. Using excess ribbon, cut a big enough piece to make a loop on the back your the charm. You can then take needle and red thread and sew the charm on or even pull the satin ribbon through the loop.

Sailor Moon Earrings 

If you notice in some images of Sailor Moon, she is wearing earrings with moons dangling from 3 circles/pearls. You can make them yourself or purchase them. I will list a method I think could work.

Purchasing Them:

Making Them:

I find it fairly easy to create earrings and if this is your first time, don’t beat yourself up if they don’t come out right. It may take trial and error before you get the look you want. 

But if you would like a full tutorial on how to make dangling earrings, here is a very good one. But before you start, make sure you have the supplies which are listed below.

Moon Charm ( now this might be hard to find so you might just want to craft it yourself out of foam or wood and paint it yellow. Just note the size has to match the size of the beads to make it look like the earring Sailor Moon has)

All of these supplies you can purchase online or in stores. I definitely would purchase them in store so you do not have to wait. 

Stores such as Micheal’s, Hobby Lobby, AC Moore, Target and even Walmart sell all of these supplies for fairly cheap prices.
