Doc was sort of surprised that he didn’t want to fuck his counterpart from a parallel dimension. Not that the other Henry wasn’t hot, because he was smoking, but he seemed… off-limits, somehow. 

Doc didn’t get it until other Henry gave him a nudge and a wink and asked:

“So, how long have you and Bobo been a-courtin’?” 

Doc gaped at him.

“You mean to say you and- you and- you are… partners?” He spluttered, gesturing at other Bo- Robert. His name was still Robert, in their world. 

Other Henry looked puzzled.

“Robert and I? Why, of course. We’re married.”

Robert Svane had learned a long time ago that sometimes, there was a very fine line between fear and desire.

Bobo del Rey had learned to use this to his advantage. It was a lot harder to say “no” to a terrifying demon boss when you not-so-secretly wanted them.

He’d forgotten what it felt like to be looked at without an undercurrent of fear.

Of course it would take John Henry Holliday to remind him. Of course he would swan into Bobo’s kingdom smelling like the bottom of a well and flatter him with nothing but a look, the bastard.
