Nar'thalas Academy
Location—Ruins of Nar'thalas, Azsuna, Broken Isles
Noteworthy Relics—Tidestone of Golganneth
Noteworthy Tomes—Rune Formation, Encyclopedia Azsunica (K-M), Courtship Rituals of the Skrog, Draconic Compendium Volume III, Ancient Tome of Teleport: Dalaran
· · ─────── ·⋆✶✦✶⋆· ─────── · ·
Relevant History—Founded in the age before the Sundering, much of Nar'thalas Academy's Arcane legacy was compromised when Queen Azshara corrupted the once great city of Nar'thalas, banishing it beneath the tides.
Sealed chambers within the lower levels of the school still hum with residual power—and of course the presence of the naga. Access to these chambers is restricted, requiring an enchanted key.
The central sanctum of the Hall of Antiquities once held the Tidestone (last known location: Nazjatar, Great Sea). Meanwhile, the Hall of Arcane Learning is curiously inhabited by echoes of students, instructors, and Arcane anomalies alike. Many of these aberrations seem to be cyclical in nature, lessons caught in loops that have long outlived their original purpose.

Research Notes—The lessons still run unattended, unending. What they left behind isn’t knowledge. It’s consequence.

The Vaults of Dalaran
Location—The Violet Citadel, Dalaran City, Various
Noteworthy Relics—The Eye of Dalaran, Natalie Seline’s books, The Focusing Iris, Book of Medivh, Skull of Guldan
· · ─────── ·⋆✶✦✶⋆· ─────── · ·
Relevant History—Not merely a site of storage, the Kirin Tor's vaults once stood as the embodiment of the Council’s belief in magical dominion. Designed to house artifacts deemed too volatile or significant for standard containment, the vaults were heavily warded—built to prevent misuse and keep power from “unworthy” hands. And, ironically, to forestall catastrophe.
During the Legion’s third invasion, sections served as containment cells. These held not only cursed or unstable relics, but occasionally the individuals or entities bound to them.
Leading up to the Destruction of Dalaran, the city was repositioned above Khaz Algar—under advisement from an infiltrator posing as Archmage Drenden, later revealed to be Xal’atath. The resulting destruction scattered the vault's contents across the isles. Many of these relics have since been found in and around Azj-Kahet.

Research Notes—The vault kept more than power. It kept mistakes. We should remember which was more dangerous.
