When the man next to him slipped out of bed and into the bathroom next door Suguru opened his eyes, blinking against the sunlight that suddenly seemed too bright. The warmth next to him had vanished too suddenly, rousing him from his light sleep. For a moment he stayed still, just pressing his face to Nanami’s pillow, breathing in his scent.

It had been rough lately. Exorcise. Absorb. An endless cycle, and an endlessly growing pile of corpses. Sorcerers, non-sorcerers. And Suguru didn’t care for any of them as long as they stood in his way to create the perfect world for sorcerers, a world where curses would no longer exist.

But ever since his relationship with Nanami Kento had become something serious, the conflicts just kept growing. As students they were taught not to get attached to anyone, not to non-sorcerers and definitely not to one another. Sorcerers were destined to die, rather sooner than later, and it wouldn’t do anyone a favor to fall into the void of mourning after watching a fellow sorcerer die. And yet here they were. The only thing was: Suguru had become the most wanted curse user, meanwhile Nanami had given up the life of being a sorcerer after his best friend had been killed in action. Another corpse added to the pile.

The good thing was that Suguru did not have to worry about Nanami being killed by curses anymore, but him giving shelter to the curse user could still get him in trouble with Jujutsu’s rotten higher ups.

With a sigh Suguru got out of bed and he wordlessly undressed himself to join his lover in the shower. He knew it was important to Nanami to be on time, overtime was an absolute no-go after all, but Suguru needed him right now. Out of completely selfish reasons. He leaned his slender body against Nanami’s, pressing his lips slightly against the other’s neck.

“I don’t like waking up without you next to me.” Suguru liked to believe he had never been the clingy type, but the truth was that only Nanami could keep the horrors and nightmares at bay. He gently ran his slender fingers up and down Nanami’s back, then resting it on the other’s waist to hold him close. “I don’t feel like being a curse user today. Would you mind me waiting here for you?”

It was rare enough to have someone to stay over, but when they securely became a thing at the end of his high school days, he needed to keep to himself. Yet there were days when he had someone stay with him, it was to help relax both of them. after all there were a lot of things they couldn't do before now they could have. Though Nanami tried not to think so much about it.

Standing under the water, he heard the door open. Choosing to ignore it since he was open earlier to get ready for his job, he soon heard the shower curtain open and then the other male came up behind him.

All he wanted was a fast shower, but for some reason, he felt this wasn't going to be as fast as he wanted. Given how both of them woke up some mornings it tends to be worse than what they like to admit. Though feeling the other's body onto his he couldn't help but smile a little.

" ... I thought you were sleeping so I didn't want to bother you," he said just loud enough he could hear him over the water, slowly turning around to face the other male. Arms wrapped around the other for a second. " did you sleep alright?"
