Is NMK-1 Custard apple taste better than Balanagar

I know the local (Telangana) custard apple taste very well. I am a custard apple fruit lover. I have planted NMK-1 and in first year on few good healthy plants left few flowers for testing fruit taste. I ate the fruits this November/December. The fruit taste is not good compared to local/balanagar variety.

1. They claim sugar content is more, it is right but NOT the taste.

2. They claim fruit color is good, It is right but NOT the fruit taste. Along with me few of my family members ate and said this fruit is bit different.

3. It seems NMK-1 is crossed from Atemoya you will get the bit Atemoya taste. I ate Atemoya custard apple fruit and its taste is different and not good as local variety.

Can someone who tasted fruit and feel better than local/balanagar fruit can comment on this post.
