“…Well, have you ever tried to have that kinda relationship with someone? I mean, I can understand if you’re too busy for a social life but, how can you know you can’t get something out of it, if you’ve never tried?”

It felt like a lesson Cut had to teach time and time again, but having two lines worth of sibling would do that for you. Still, it was a useful one, Cut needed it a lot after the things his older brother went though. Trying something and not liking it was better then never trying it at all, that’s how he discovered his love for kirigami after all. Maybe it was useless for Shade but, you never knew.

“Call me clueless or blind or, whatever you wanna say, I think everyone needs a chance for that type of connection. If you hate it, you hate it. If you don’t, you don’t, but…you gotta try at least once, right?”

Even if the orange bot didn’t fully understand Shade or his intentions, he at least wanted to hear him out. After all, if this Navi was anything like the Stardroids or King, might as well try and see if he could prevent an incident like they caused. 

“I think about that, yes. There are many differences between you robots crafted by humans and beings like me who were not. Perhaps you were always intended to be more kind and friendly. I have noticed that despite there being millions of humans crawling on this planet…they always seem to be lonely. Navis, robots, you do jobs for humans, but they also see you as companions. Whether it’s said or not, that is an implicit part of your purpose.”

“Maybe the ‘problem’ in being a Darkloid is that we are exempt from this relationship. We have nothing to gain, so we see no reason to be invested in human or artificial friends. It may seem strange to you…but it simply doesn’t cross our minds.”

Know better? Alright, Cut wasn’t the smartest bot in his family but he’s isn’t naïve! He at least knew that everyone cares about something, even someone like Shade.

Sure, Cut didn’t know this Navi, like…at all but, it’s something that the bot always found to be true, at least, when Megaman wasn’t handing things on his own.

42. If invited to a TED Talk, what topic would they present on? What would the title of their presentation be?

For Cut:Definitely something nature related, despite his job, Cut absolutely adores the outdoors and everything that comes with it. I guess that it be the highest chance it be about excessive deforestation, and how it effects everyone, not just the animals. For the title, however, you just know it’s going to be some dumb tree pun.

For Cut:It would honestly go one of two ways, someone would make a really bad pun and see which one laughs at it, or, Roll would ask questions about all the things they did together before the rest of Cut’s line was built.

For Ice:Well, the Arctic and just glaciers in general are his bread and butter, so most likely it be about either how to stop the earth from heating up so much that they all melt, or, it be about why his study’s are so important to the Scientific field. Not sure what the name would be but, rest assured Iceman is vary passionate about the whole thing.
