Yes, it's an ableist slur.

Terms like "asshat," "head-up-ass," "up their own ass," and "high on their own farts" exist. There's also words like crap, dogshit, half-assed, assclown, and chucklefuck. And on the less vulgar side, there are terms like ridiculous, nonsense, train wreck, pointless, insipid, self-absorbed, pretentious, annoying, boring, contemptible, vile, and disgusting.

Substituting words like restarted, poptarted, brain damaged, smoothbrain, etc. is still ableist, because either 1. you obviously still mean the r-word, or 2. you're still using disability as an insult.

There's that post about leather and kink in LGBT history and it's really good and all except there is a part in the informational reblog that's like, "I've seen gay and bi men arm in arm with trans men" and I'm like ok????? That's... A normal thing? That's three kinds of LGBT men who would all be at pride events anyway?? What if the gay and bi men ARE trans????

free health care is a good idea but I don't think it goes far enough.

I think the government should subsidize certain treatments, like HRT. like, if you break your leg and need a cast, that's 0$, but if you need estridiol, the government pays you 50,000$ a year.

This'd have two main effects:

it'd help counteract how crap it is to be trans sometimes

it'd tempt otherwise cis men into going on e just for the money.

I foresee no negative side effects to this policy and I think you should all vote for me to be president so I can implement it

people say folks with adhd struggle with "delayed rewards" aka long term goals and as such we tend to focus more on short term rewards. what they don't talk about is that at when we Do accomplish long term goals we don't actually feel anything proportionate to the amount of work we did to achieve it. In my head I suffered for a while and then money spontaneously appeared in my bank account.

okay follow up thought experiment. you wake up tomorrow with the other set of genitals of the one you were born with, and the hormonal profile, body, so on of someone of the opposite agab. nobody notices this change, everyone thinks this is how you've always been. you still have similar physical traits, eg if you're a 6'4" cis man, you'll still be a tall woman, but probably like 6 foot instead. eye color, hair color, general looks are the same. for like, a post transition trans woman you gain a uterus, ovaries, a vagina if you didn't already have one
