  No matter how bad the cake turned out, he wasn’t going to get bad or complain. His daughter had made something from her heart, and that was what had count. A light-hearted chuckle emits from his mouth as he accepts the hand-made cake.

  “Thankyou Sophie! That mean’s a lot, it’s a very lovely cake.” He really isn’t sure what kind of cake it is, but, he figured he shouldn’t ask and place it down on a table to cut it and eat a slice. It could taste better than it looked, right?

Laslow;

     UNFAMILIARITY STRIKES A   curiosity firsthand. Calm, collected and cheerful - the leap that Silas gives him on approach could almost make a man uneasy. He hadn’t done anything profound to gain the cavalier’s attention, or at least nothing he could think of.

       But, ah, that statement alone cures suspicion of him doing anything WRONG, at least. Silas was a young knight, and surely if he would see something out of place or out of the norm, he would be the one to call it out for it to be corrected. And admittedly, Laslow had the low fear of his approach being just that. Shoulders can relax, smile can push forward through his concern to give a proper, more deserved greeting for Silas to come into.

       ❝ I assume you’re directing towards my attempts to woo women  ? ❞ It was the nicest way he could put it without hurting himself with his own words. Womanizing, sneaking around, being a predator – he’d heard it all, but surely they had just been given the wrong idea . . even when Laslow himself doesn’t give them purpose or reason to believe otherwise, nor does he correct it. It’s so much easier to let others assume what they want.  

        Reasoning isn’t all too simple, even though it should be. His overwhelming shyness as a child sits with him still, and while his excuses of how his incessant flirting and borderline harassment try to persuade the fact it helps him be less so . . it is less than believable. Even when it’s true.

        ❝ Believe it or not, as a child I was unable to talk to a girl. My mother had told me that flirting was so much easier – and she was right  ! Though, heh, perhaps it got a little out of hand in my later years – ❞

  “Oh...yes,” Silas replies; perhaps he should have been more clear on that? To him, he doesn’t seem to understand as to why his comrade would woo women when they have failed time and time again. What drove him to do such actions? And as to why he hadn’t given up. It all intrigued him.

  His ears listened up to such a story from his childhood and nodded his head, of course, the silver-haired male would believe it. Though a chuckle had followed after, it got a little out of hand? It didn’t quite appear it that way - guess he could have somewhat understood his reason to.

  “A little? No, it seems like you’re trying to woo any girl you come across. LIsten Laslow, I think you’re trying too hard when it comes to impressing a girl - I know I shouldn’t speak when I clearly don’t do this, but perhaps you should lay back a little?”

  Silas was honestly just trying to help him, “what kind of words do you say to them for such failed attempts?” He was only allowing his curiosity to get the best of him and ask.
