yeah, i’ve always speculated that the reason we’re a void-type IS because we inherited the queen’s blood. just like how jack can assess the relics, eva can sing to calm them down, etc. our abilities as a successor directly relate to which relic we inherited, aka blood. which is why we can revitalize mistle and absorb other blood codes. i assume we get ‘queenslayer’ instead of ‘successor of the blood’ simply for dramatic effect, but it’s essentially the same thing.

here’s a theory: the queen’s influence is what mutates blood codes. that’s why only the successors close to frenzying have ‘successor of the [relic]’ blood codes, and jack still has his own personal blood code, heimdall. in the same vein, we were close to frenzying before jack mercy kills us, and that’s why our blood code mutates into queenslayer. so, our abilities as the successor of blood (such as purifying mistle) would have still been present, even if we kept our original blood code.

So blood codes, like Queenslayer, are just the products of mutation? Coolio!! At least I think that's what ur saying lol pretty sure?

So when I have a favorite character I seem to have this strange desire to just break them. No reason. I just want to make them suffer. So in Code Vein Louis’ may fave, he’s probably the character I’ve written the most for outside of my personified MC, so naturally I should want to break him. Except… I don’t? In fact, I want him to be… happy? And I don’t know why?

No wait I do, it’s cause he’s already broken. That boy is already broken and and burned out at this point the only thing I want to do is slowly put him back together piece by piece.

Hearing about the new DLCs like:

Wait so,

Vestiges holds the memories of once dead revenants, right?

We see their memories when they were already revenants like how we were able to attain Prometheus Vestige II (was it II? Can't remember) where the first thing we see is Louis in a hospital bed, awakened as a revenant.

So, the question is - In Louis' Prometheus Vestige I, how come we see memories of Louis when he was still human?

How can a vestige, in which by definition, supposedly holds the memories of a revenant, held a human's memories, particularly Louis'?

I can say he was human in that vestige because we were told that he became a revenant after Project Queenslayer, hence being a 3rd Generation Revenant.

The memories of Prometheus Vestige I showed that he was still in school, visiting Cruz during Project Queen. He can't be a revenant at that time.

Further proving that Louis was human in that memory was how Karen wished that Louis would wake soon during Project Queenslayer, and by wake up - awaken as a revenant.

How is Louis' vestige any different? It can't be someone's else memory because it obviously follows Louis' perspective and it is called Prometheus Vestige I.

So yeah, just a thought. I'm not sure if this was addressed or not, but I haven't seen any post about it so here it is.

Summary: He’d doled out the limited alcohol to the others as best as he could. Coco refused the drink, but Davis and Murasame hadn’t, each with their own glass as he swallowed back one after the other. Louis, spoilsport that he was, was hiding away in his little cavern of books, his own drink left untouched on the table. He was lucky Yakumo had even given him that much; the two of them had hardly said two words to one another since they’d returned from their trip into the city, their argument from hours ago still hanging heavy in the atmosphere. Yakumo hadn’t forgotten that, even with the fog of alcohol clouding his mind.

Thanks to Louis’s inability to play anything other than good-cop, they were once again rationing, their already bare-bones supply of blood beads down to single digits.

How would jack and louis react to killing a lost and as they turn to ash they regain their sanity for a brief few seconds and whisper "thank you" to them as they die. Also did you get my other 2 request I sent in last week or did tumblr eat them.

Louis

• He'd be very unsettled that's for sure

• He spent most of his time as a revenant hammering it into his mind that the Lost can't be saved, they're to be disposed of without hesitation

• Now, seeing the sickening image in his mind of the Lost turning back into a person haunts him

• He's out of it for the remainder of the day.

• There's conflicting sides of him now. Is there more to the Lost? Is there a way to save them? What's the use of saving them only to come back into a dried up world?

• Though the only reassuring part was that he could think that the revenant was saved from whatever happens to a person's humanity after turning. . .

Jack

• Just like Louis, he's a bit spooked after the whole event

• He's also so damn confused. This whole time, that whole time. . .fighting Lost, was there a chance to save them? Were they still fighting inside themselves? How many of his comrades has he slain unknown to him that they were ready to run into his deadly arms?

• On the other hand, it's reassuring to know that he saved them from an eternity of suffering. Now he can really hope that their soul was pure enough to reach Heaven.

• Now he confidently prays after killing Lost.

Eva gets flustered when she's praised. Now, it's not that she doesn't like it, she's just very humble.

She gets especially fluster when hearing it from you~

The two of you were out fighting back a lost invasion once, when she performed a successful drain attack on one of the greater lost.

You were amazed, and very happy for her in her accomplishment, even she could have done a drain attack like that any other time, you praised her in her feat.

There was a slight little redness to her cheeks as she looked towards you, smiling a little bit.

"O-oh! Thankyou, Y/N!"

Eva likes praise, but she's too humble to admit it.. make sure she knows she can accept it for other things than singing!

It almost seems that the only time she doesn't have to be so humble is when she's singing so beautifully.

What kind of lover is: Karen Amamiya

• Just like her brother, Karen is a bookworm, every so often S/O will catch her reading a cheesey romance novel (you know the ones).

• She will get super embarrassed about this, S/O will think it’s funny and adorable.

• If S/O is sick, there is no arguing with her, they’re staying home and getting all the care.

• There’s a chance Karen might get sick in the process of caring for S/O, but in her mind it was completely worth it.

• S/O will find Karen often falling asleep at her desk when she’s working, they will have to be on her about overworking at times, but Karen will only comply if cuddling is involved.

• She will also geek out about new discoveries in her field whenever she gets home, which is always adorable since Karen gets so caught up in it.

• Aurora may be wary of S/O at first, but accepts after a while. Will still have a little bit of the “you break her heart, I’ll break your face” type attitude from time to time.

• Louis is unsure how he feels about S/O at first, but he’s pretty accepting as long as Karen is happy.

• There will be times where Karen will feel like she’s not doing enough, even though she’s trying so hard to make sure everything is perfect. S/O reassures her every time that she is doing just fine, and will always lend an ear.

• If there’s ever a time where S/O is having insecurities, you better bet that Karen will be right there the whole time.

• No matter how much they may not want her to worry, she’s going to anyways and will not leave their side.
