The fox shuddered before sipping his 2nd cup of hot tea of the day, as he stared into the rabbit’s serious eyes. She was certainly ready, and so was he. Taking a deep breath, he took another sip from his paper cup, and stared out into the distance. Their target was within reach, they just had to walk towards with careful intent throughout.

“You don’t suppose the guys at the office found out about that, have they?”

“ Oh, I’m sure they’re buzzing about it even now. “

She paused for a second after delivering that pun. This wasn’t for dramatic effect, but rather because a completely innocent thought passed through her mind. Looking out towards their target in a somewhat calm manner--her mind actively avoiding looking below Nick’s waist--she asked.

With enough vacation time saved up, Judy had taken a short break from ZPD to visit her folks back in Bunnyburrow. While the gray-haired bunny still had plenty of energy and enthusiasm to continue working in the force, she could only spend so much time in Zootopia before she began to feel a little homesick. Fortunately for her parents, she could use a little bit of this energy to help out on the farm.

She was planting carrot seeds when she noticed a familiar van pulled over on the side of the road. Dusting off her paws, she pulled herself up and over to meet the pie-baking fox her parents had partnered with.

Hopping into the police cruiser with Chief Bogo’s statement in mind, Judy Hopps was quite thankful for the warm air blowing through the car. While Sahara Square is well known for its sweltering hot days, it’s actually surprisingly cool at night due to its desert climate. Sahara Square is also well known for its popular nightlife, with casinos being the most popular attraction. Unfortunately, money and drinks attract all kinds of crime to the city, which is why Judy is on patrol with a fellow officer, Nick Wilde.
