his way of showing emotions is different from, say, joseph’s who wears his heart on his sleeve, a lot of his feelings are concealed.

he was a lil shit to his mother, and he handled parenting horribly, that is true, but he’s clearly shown as a person who has difficulties in showing affection, and the reason he left his family is not to get them involved in this stand bullshit - he learned first hand that stand users attract each other.

i do like to make fun of araki from time to time, but he knew what he was doing when creating jojos. they’re the core of the story after all. and you have to embrace their differences - as a matter of fact, it’s what makes all the jojos interesting

A snippet from the JJBA official movie guide has a 4 page spread interview with Araki where he mentions wanting to create a 19 page backstory for Kakyoin but couldn’t due to Jump, at the time, needing a weekly battle in the series. Also, a bit about main hero characters having thick eyebrows and how difficult it was for him to draw Kakyoin’s because they were thin.

Rinko Kurosawa’s Blog Post About the English Release of Koshotengai no Hashihime - Translation

I’m still really excited and Kurosawa-san’s post just really tickled me, so…. An English Version of Koshotengai no Hashihime Will be Released!! Rinko Kurosawa here! W-Wow, “Koshotengai no Hashihime” will be made completely into English!!!! MangaGamer, the ones who will be translating and distributing it, is a company that deals in notable BL games and doujin games. Their head translator had played Koshotengai no Hashihime and proposed an English version, so now it’s really being translated. When Hashihime was first announced, almost half the support came from overseas users, so now this will finally be the best way we can bring it to them. Thank you MangaGamer, their head translator, and all the users in Japan and overseas who have already played and hyped it up (T-T)(T-T) And thank you to the fan translators who spread the word about Hashihime (T-T)(T-T)(T-T) Also, the genital mosaics and censors will be removed in the English version. After the English version is released, I’d like to release a patch to remove the censors from the Japanese version too!! ……just, since the semes’ genitals are mostly hidden, the mosaics were mainly applied to Tamamori’s. But since Tamamori’s isn’t that impressive, it’s difficult to say the removal will “double the sexy”…… It’ll be available for the people wanting to be shocked like, “That’s Tamamori’s thing, what is this!????” The text data and images have already been handed over and the English version is already in progress. I’ve been chopping the firewood in order to increase the flames of production and for the head translator…..! (>っ<) Please give them all your support~~!

Anime Boston Announcement #3: Hashihime of the Old Book Town!

We’re pleased to announce our newest BL acquisition, Hashihime of the Old Book Town, from indie developer ADELTA––coming to both MangaGamer.com and Steam!

Jinbochou, Tokyo. June 1922, Taisho Era. The Rainy Season. Tamamori came to Tokyo with his sights set on getting accepted to the Imperial University. However, he doesn’t pass the entrance exam, and is so undisciplined and wrapped up in endless fantasies that he’s kicked out of his boarding house after only two years. Through a stroke of luck, Tamamori begins to live and work at Umebachidou, a used book store. There, he enjoys whiling away his time as a “student preparing for entrance exams” and taking advantage of friends who are also from his hometown. But one right after the other, mysterious deaths befall those friends and, realizing he’s been repeating the same rainy three days over and over again, Tamamori finds himself racing throughout Jinbochou to save them.

In this psychedelic mystery that surrounds the deaths of his friends… What is real, and what is a hallucination?

Wowow no need to be bitter towards newer sport shows/fandom.

I’ve been into Tenipuri like ten years or something and I still love the series so much. Tenipuri fans (especially in Japan) are rather loyal. It doesn’t change the fact that Japan loves Tenipuri and its image isn’t going to be replaced anytime by other sport shows. Because Tenipuri positioning is a long time built and one of pioneer of sport’s popularity towards female audience. 

But, it’s not strange that people get hype with newer things. Not everyone gives a care or appreciation to shows that they didn’t even follow nor gives a care to expand their sport list. Yeah it’s kind of frustrating when the series is forgotten, but it can’t be helped. (But, if someone makes fun of Tenipuri being a cheap show, I would be pissed too). People just love what they love ;)

I bet nowadays is rare to people read/watch sport legends like Ashita no Joe. Time flies but surely the appreciation would stays from people who appreciate it even if it’s from long time ago.

I enjoy both old and new sport series. I hope everyone just enjoy things that they like! Cheers. ;)))))

OMEGAVERSE PROJECT MAGAZINE: OMEGAVERSE GUIDE TRANSLATION

I started this before a lot of Omegaverse translated and look at how many of them now LOL I want to translate it with my own style as I feel some translations don’t really quite hit the mark, felt stiff or even straight up messy DX The biggest difference would probably be the fact that I’m trying to be faithful to the original text as much as possible rather than using my own words. Of course mine also far from perfect, constructive critics are very much welcomed.

SO, the series is slowly coming to an end, and by that i mean in 3 days my life will crumble away to nothing because one of the most amazing series this year is going to end….

i have a feeling that victor won’t go back to competitive figure skating (unless im proven wrong by the new episode and then this little thing i made wont make any sense lol) but i wanted to make something for him just because… i feel like i get sadder looking at victor with each passing episode, like deep down he wasn’t really happy or something like that or maybe he was letting down his fans since they wanted to keep watching him skate etc etc etc and so by the last episode, i want him to be honestly truly happy
