Thinking about the faint differences in behavior my yume Sona has when they are turned into a pigeon by that code. It probably still needs a lot of getting used to, no matter how well Sonny matched that model to her brain.

They're probably real antsy being cooped up all the time, which is extremely out of character for her. Shed usually be very reclusive and silent, the type to turn down when coworkers invited them out to places. Just.... not very outgoing.

...juuuust in time to be there to catch them as they quickly plummet from it.

Even after that fright, they'll be back up there within an hour. On that ledge, or somehow clinging to a stalactite... Just another beautiful moment of their more altitude-inclined genes and ground-dwelling ones canceling each other out completely!

Yeah, not all of their injuries are from surviving the wilderness... And the antics they can get up to in that cave is nothing compared to when they're hunting for eggs; the woody heights they've braved... And barely survived

messing with one of sonny's paws while he's working... it's the size of a dinnerplate, and so thick you struggle to wrap your fingers around it even when holding it hamburger style. the pads are thick-skinned with a rugged texture... yet somehow still adorable, which is a sharp contrast given the being they're attached to; the things they're capable of.

Each claw is the length and thickness of a finger, something that should be terrifying to have so close to your face as you examine them closely, but instead they just made you feel warm and fuzzy inside as you traced one down to its deadly point.

He grumbles something and the digits stretch flutter, the sheer strength in even that passive movement enough to loosen your grip as you feel the power behind it.

You can't help but stare up at him and admire.

He catches your gaze in a glance; flashes the hint of a toothy, smug smirk. You glance away, face burning as your wings shudder behind you.
