Felt like trying something new, so here's a spontaneous scene... no idea what they are doing there, but i feel like Kerry was hiding when they should be on stage. Fun what you realize when you're studying characters. Never noticed Kerry's 2023 Hammer gig guitar is in the colours of the flag of the Philippines.

The world knows her as Kerry Eurodyne’s output, but she was mine long before she was his. Screamsheets love to drone on and fucking on about how he “tamed” a dangerous merc so she could move in and become his full-time muse/bodyguard. With that legendary Eurodyne charm, no doubt that was something that could’ve happened. 

She sang backing vocals on the new album, so of course, the label put her in a ridiculous costume like she’s his fucking Barbie doll. I’ll never get how she puts up with that, and I live in her fuckin’ head. She donned the dress and suffered through being primped and poked by an army of stylists before meekly glaring down the barrel of a camera. They’re gonna sell the shit out of that album. Can see it in Ker’s shit-eating grin whenever he rambles about it.

They call them a “power couple” now. Whatever the fuck that’s supposed to mean. More important—they’ll never know I’m here, keepin’ these two gonks outta trouble. Full-fuckin-time job. If anyone’s the bodyguard here, it’s fuckin’ me. They’re the only ones that can see me. I can alert her to any sign of danger faster than a ‘strommer can bat all seven of its fugly eyes. And now that I can touch both of ‘em, I can yank ‘em out of harm’s way if V doesn’t have her iron handy. 

Maybe the old Silverhand woulda been infuriated, livin’ like this, stalking the shadows while they glitter in the spotlight. Brainless gonks throw panties on stage while execs froth at the mouth thinkin’ about the wads of eddies those two rake in for them. Kerry does it for the love of the game; V does it because she loves him.

Weird. Don’t really miss the spotlight. Used to crave it like a junkie craves the next hit—that’s over now. Maybe I’ve just come to accept that this frail existence is the best I’m gonna get. Bein’ their shadow is better than Mikoshi, better than losin’ whatever’s left of my mind beyond the Blackwall, better than being wiped. I’m here, and they’re stuck with me.
