  Once again, this is not production work, and it’s just for fun! 

Other rejected “Human” VeggieTales concept stuff that didn’t quite make it into the last idea dump. Some of these were very early explorations of a few of the characters. There’s a random weird sketch dump in here too, (which includes our take of an older character somewhere.) Heh.

   What you’re about to see is artwork done for FUN and on our own SPARE TIME, and not part of any of the production whatsoever. :) 

    Rest assured, this will never happen, folks, so please don’t freak out! 

We don’t know what to say…other than this being kind of a helpful character design practice…thing. And concept art.

It’s human VeggieTales with the updated VTITH style… Hopefully we didn’t hit rock-bottom with this one. Haha.

It’s kind of embarrassing to post this, because, well, yeah. We just like messing around with concepts a bit too much sometimes.

At least these are all the characters revealed in the official trailer so far…

(Yes, people at the office know about this too. They just thought it was funny!)

Yup. Just our interpretations of them. Everyone can draw them however they like, though! :X

Done in PS and SAI. Just some character explorations, silhouettes, and some small environment stuff. The bottom part was the color rough, and the very top pic is a somewhat final color lineup painted entirely using the lasso tool with no underlying sketch.

New "Veggie" Design Concerns

In regards to our recent vgt post …

 The internet is one of many platforms to be able to have open discussions, while allowing shared or opposing opinions to be freely talked about.  But unfortunately, there can some things that get warped or blown way out proportion. Does this surprise us? Not at all. Welcome to the internet!

There are few points that we would like to address in regards to some of the feedback of the new designs of the VeggieTales. We try to refrain from not saying anything as it would appear as we’re desperate for any new an old fans, or other potential viewers to be on board with the redesigns. Everyone is entitled to like or don’t what they see. It’s an honest first impression, and that’s a completely normal response. There are just a few concerns we would like clarify as a whole.
