I’m so fucking exhausted and over this bullshit

whenever I get to work I’ve been making a little snack plate with

- spinach

- cherry tomatoes

- blueberries

- walnuts

- and a square of dark choc

to incorporate more antioxidants in my diet

practically rotted in bed all day while he went to work. ordered my groceries & amazon haul. finally got up and cleaned my house and did my skincare. waiting for him to get off so I can start dinner. I already have everything prepped. I’m doing toasted turkey & swiss sandwiches with a side salad and pesto pasta topped with parm. also ordered some of his favorite snacks & drinks. also also making fresh baked chocolate chip cookies for desert ☺️

just setting one achievable goal for the day and like 3-5 achievable goals for the week is such a game changer

and what that looks like is not necessarily just completing an important task you had but like, embodying the kind of energy of the person you want to be

like for instance waking up and just deciding to hold a certain energy that day for the whole day

in your words, your actions, the way you think & move

went out to get mexican food with my baby before work. had a mojito, a beer, some tacos. sun shining, feeling good. get to work. it’s monday but technically my “friday” the moment I walk in the shitshow began. I helped with truck which I’ve never done before but I knew where everything went. one of the girls accidentally dropped a case of glass ginger beer bottles and I went to grab a mop from outside, the outside door handle came off in my hand. we finally got everything cleaned up & put away. the opening bartender is a new girl that sucks. she’s not friendly. we got everything in we needed but I haven’t even started prep. I’m so exhausted.

she literally didn’t even know how to use a creme brûlée torch to the point I thought she was going to hurt herself or burn our kitchen down. she’s 32. she keeps telling me she has all this experience in kitchens as a chef and food prepper but there’s NO WAY. then later she said she’s about to start school to get her bachelors in food & entrepreneurship. 💀 you didn’t even know how to slice a sandwich my guy.

new girl is fucking annoying. she’s taking this shadowing thing a little too seriously. like I take a sip of water, she immediately goes to take a sip of water. I check my phone, she checks her phone. she follows me into every corner of the kitchen even when I’m not doing anything. we took a sandwich out the oven and she asked “do I put it together & slice it?” like wtffffff
