headlines all about the "ceasefire talks" we have been hearing of literally since israel started unapologetically genociding palestinians. nothing about the metastatic famine in gaza, nothing about the fact that aid trucks have not entered gaza in months (last report of an aid truck successfully entering gaza dates all the way back to feb). nothing about the fact that most agencies have literally given up accurately documenting how many people have been killed. it's so fucking ghoulish. it makes me sick that i ever have to be part of a time period where this was allowed to happen

Hey guys. I have some horrifying news about one of the fundraisers. This listing belongs to a family that wants to remain anonymous but keeps contact with me and the organizer. I don't know how to say this, but one of the two beautiful daughters has been martyred as a result of an air strike. The neighbour's building collapsed on them from the impact. The situation is absolutely harrowing and they need your help. I just received news of this 5 hours ago as of drafting this post. Please do not hesitate to help them.

Guys the situation in Khan Younis is so scary that I don’t even know how to put it into words anymore. All it takes is looking up the city and seeing headlines like “over 100 of bodies ripped to pieces in Khan Younis!” “An Israeli airstrike decimates a house in Khan Younis belonging to x family!” “Even in the midst of ceasefire talks, Israeli forces continue pushing into Khan Younis” for all-consuming anxiety to seize me for all the families that have yet to evacuate. I am Suad, a successful engineer and professor from Gaza. On top of my professional accomplishments, I found out I was pregnant. Sadly, a week later, the occupation began bombing Gaza and planning an invasion. My home and workplace were destroyed, and my husband's family and I were displaced. While living in a cramped tent and subjected to the elements, I became extremely sick with gastroenteritis, a dangerous condition during pregnancy. Food is scarce, and we are all suffering from malnourishment. My due date is coming very soon, and I want my baby to have a better life than the one I am living now. I am trying to evacuate to Egypt, where my family and I will be safer and healthier. We are trying to get evacuated before I give birth, so we have only a few weeks left. My name is Ashraf Alanqar, and I am 30 years old. My wife, Widad Issa, and I have a one-and-a-half-year-old son named Bakr. We used to live peacefully in the Al-Shuja’iya neighborhood, in a house we built just a week before the war began. I worked as a farmer and owned a large chicken farm that provided for my family.

Then the war came and destroyed everything. Our home was reduced to ashes, and our chicken farm was obliterated. We lost our home, our livelihood, and even our basic rights. We've been forced to move from place to place in northern Gaza, simply trying to survive.

The terror we feel as we flee from heavy bombardment is unbearable. The sound of explosions around us, the constant fear as we navigate through the rubble of destroyed homes searching for safety and food, haunts us every day. My son Bakr is constantly scared and suffers from severe malnutrition and skin diseases due to the lack of food, water, and sanitation.
