Gutted we didn't get to go to @artnorthwales as eldest has a stinking cold and youngests leg pain too bad today. So I spent several hours glazing recent makes. One mug I made yesterday sadly cracked. Morning! I had a quick trip to college after my post office run (thanks for the orders x ) and picked up my latest finished makes. Sadly the kiln gods hadn't been kind and some bits didn't work out well. A few bits I've decided to keep as I love them and these two I've put in my Etsy shop. I'm not 60 (still a few years to go yet!), but can totally relate to this meme. Having been belittled for my creative endeavours in the past and told to get a 'proper job', soul destroying and oppressive, I knew I needed to enjoy life more and make more art. I may still be learning at the grand age of 52, but I'm not letting that put me off. Admin day and a bit of pottery too! What a morning! Managed to get youngest into school eventually. We had a meeting yesterday and made some changes which will hopefully work (if you don't know, she has a physical disability). She didn't want to go in, and dug her heels, but eventually she went. I had a BP check, which expectantly was mega high. So home to some quiet time and admin. Hopefully I'll have some news tomorrow, regarding a shop that has asked me to stock them 😊.
