it would have been funny probably giving morgan a cat that was grumpy and tired all the time like he is but i think him having a cat who runs around the house yowling at 3 am, needs to be involved in everything he does, and bunny kicks and bites him is funnier

but i am so much less interested in "what if they were born in the 90s like normal people" and more interested in "what if they both worked at the same office"

i think the reason morgan doesn't like being lied to is because it implies a lack of respect and not really the lying part

and that if you were anyone other than sasha he'd probably point it out

but because it's sasha he just doesn't say anything and wonders why. and doesn't predict the actual reason because neither of these dogs like it very much when people care about them

and if you knew sasha back then assuming it's shame and not an attempt to "protect" you would be a pretty good guess

Anon sees LOTS of canine furries and hardly any feline furries, but among the non-furry crowd they see mostly cat videos so they're curious if that's a broader trend.

i just wanted to show sasha's high sensitivity and morgan's lack of empathy. at the same time. i guess

they both have the lack of empathy thing in common, they just experience it in different ways, and end up keeping each other in check about it. sasha snorts to warn morgan to stop talking, here. they're just crying because they can't fathom someone poisoning a cat
