On twitter I’m seeing dozens of threads from Black activists warning people against burnout, giving all sorts of useful tips about preventing and managing it for the sake of a long-term, sustainable effort.
On tumblr I’m seeing a hell of a lot of young white kids yelling at anyone who actually follows those steps, and acting like burnout is a moral falling rather than a well-proven psychological phenomenon.
Be careful who you get your information from. Don’t let guilt lead you to make choices that will harm both you and the movement.

fuck original post ideas am I right
+ It's very common for Libra moons to have a mother that had unfairly high expectations of their child growing up. The kid wasn't allowed full autonomy (or felt like it wasn't because doing things their way earned them visible disapproval) and as a result often feels inhibited as an adult. They can be overly accommodating or dependant on approval from outside (especially authority figures) because of this and feel uncomfortable pushing their own ideas and will against open criticism and disapproval until they have worked this out.
+ Scorpio moons with an air sun can be extremely hurtful and unfairly so if they're not careful. That's not because they're bad people (usually but if they are it's not because of their placements) but because Scorpio moon CAN be vengeful and inflict pain willfully, though they usually only do if they themselves are genuinely hurt and feel it justified. With an air sun however they feel justified in that in most cases, rationalizing their pain. It's harder for these people to take a step back and acknowledge when their reaction is inappropriate simply because they lack the self awareness that sometimes their reaction is inappropriate and their logical "they deserve it" deduction biased because of their hurt feelings
+ People with a moon/mars square are often overly defensive or feel the need to explain themselves. They often feel misunderstood or had multiple bad experiences with it growing up so that now they feel like if they don't explain themselves thoroughly, the other person is going to make false assumptions about them
+ Pluto is very "me against the world" in a way that can feel very defeating growing up. Wherever it is situated it has the native feeling like they're antagonized for this part, like there is some hostility aimed at it. So in the first just how you typically are, 3rd how you talk and the things you say, 7th your relationships, authenticity perhaps, 4th by your family, etc.
+ Harsh Saturn aspects can be rough to work through because they put you in such an odd place emotionally. Where Saturn influences you you can often feel very torn; on one hand you want validation and attention for it but you also don't want to attract attention, you feel like you should be deemed worthy of it but also as if you wanting that is inappropriate and not deserved. you want it but not be seen wanting it, you need it but reject it. Saturn heavily challenges your ego in this sense. In extreme cases of an exceptionally harsh but strong saturn in the chart AND environmental circumstances that support this, the native could be at a higher risk for imposter syndrome.
+ Couples often meet or get together when there is a major transit on one of the composite angles.
+ In a solar return, comparing the hemisphere activation between the SR chart and the natal chart shows whether you're going to be more outgoing and social, or more private and reserved than "normal for you" that year. If the SR chart has a heavy lower hemisphere, moreso than in your natal chart, the year is going to be more private. If the upper hemisphere is strongly activated, moreso than in your natal chart, you're going to have a more public year than usual.
+ The 12th house represents your mother's pregnancy, the 4th yours (of your first child). Using the derivative house system, you can also check for the order of kids/spouses: the 5th is first born, 7th second born, etc. The 7th is first spouse, 9th second spouse, etc.
+ Mercury in 7th can sometimes struggle to develop or stand behind their own opinion. When they're younger it's common for them to gauge what their peers or people they look up to think and say and then take that in and on, regurgitating it at a later point. The thing with this placement is that Mercury in 7th is very social and does better when it can engage in a topic first before coming to a conclusion. This isn't a bad thing and as these natives mature it often turns into them simply preferring to hear multiple takes/opinions before making their final thoughts on it while still exercising their own judgement, but when they are younger they are still very likely to just "copy" others or try hard to be of their peer's opinion.
+ Turn-ons are mostly determined by your 5th house
+ The 6th and 8th house are considered malicious because they aren't "seen" by the 1st house (if you think in terms or aspects). As the 1st house is representative of life, the 6th and 8th house are seen as "life-defeating", which id also where the 6H association with illness and the 8H association with death relates to. Incidentally, this not "seeing" each other applies to inconjunct planets as well (the 6th and 8th are inconjunct the first). The point of the inconjunction is that the planets DON'T see each other, they DON'T form an aspect. Planets in inconjunction don't adjust well as there is no common ground.
