My favorite Global City is Manchester. Manchester is a major city in the northwest of England with a rich industrial heritage. It is a modern cosmopolitan city with a thriving local culture and all the amenities you would expect from a major metropolis. Known throughout the world as the birthplace of the industrial revolution, Manchester has a proud history in science, politics, music, arts and sport. And today the city combines this heritage with a progressive vision to be a city that delivers surprise and delight in equal measures. Moreover, it has one of the highest graduate retention rates in the country. Manchester is a very important city in England, and is often called the "Capital of the North". It has many places for the arts, music, places for learning, businesses providing media as well as lots of shops. Manchester was right at the heart of the Revolution, becoming the UK's leading producer of cotton and textiles. The Castlefield conservation area’s 18th-century canal system recalls the city’s days as a textile powerhouse, and visitors can trace this history at the interactive Museum of Science & Industry. The revitalised Salford Quays dockyards now house the Daniel Libeskind-designed Imperial War Museum North and the Lowry cultural centre.

This was the moment when we finally made it to the mountain's summit. It was particularly memorable to me because we climbed it at least twice that day. The mountain is not that tall though but I was utterly worn out, not gonna lie. But I had so much fun nonetheless. I got to see the beautiful landscape from above perspective, the picturesque view in the distance brought me deep relaxation. I feel like a bird that day, to be able to see the nature at its most brilliance; the towering trees all swaying from the gush of the wind and seeing such magnificence, and experiencing it with all my senses really puts a lot of things into perspective. It was a nice experience. I loved it so much.

My Favorite Vacation Place

My favorite vacation place is New Bataan. New Bataan is a landlocked municipality in the province of Davao de Oro, Davao Region (Region XI), Philippines. From what I've heard, the province of Davao de Oro was formerly known as Compostela Valley and was carved from the Davao del Norte province by virtue of Republic Act 8470, ratified on March 8, 1998. Anyway, it is my favorite vacation place because it is such a good place to reconnect myself to nature. I have a plethora of relatives who live there from my mother's side, and they're all so kind and very welcoming. Another thing I love the most about being there is that I am able to see lots of beautiful, gorgeous, and amazing landscapes. The air is so refreshing; it was extremely fresh; the sunlight filtering through the Narra trees is like numerous stars falling eerily on the ground; and all kinds of bird and insect calls sounded incredibly interesting. Not to mention the fog every morning—it seems like entering a wonderland.

My money heist alias is Manchester, it is the city that fits my personality. Manchester is one of the cities in England. Manchester retains an important place in the culture of the country with loads of musical heritage and experts. Though, best of all, that warm northern hospitality. It fits my personality because I love music as well, I am hospitable, I consider myself to be a student of life and I constantly consume information. I crave the company of a variety of experts and those with something new to teach me.

Seatwork 7: My favorite vacation place | Picture travel blog | Favorite Global City

This is the shirt I designed. On the front of the shirt I put the name I prefer to be called by. In the left sleeve, I put London and Paris as the places I want to visit in the future because the architecture there is so fascinating. While in the right sleeve, I listed painting and reading as things that I like to do because they increase my dopamine levels for some reasons, especially painting cute stuff and reading the best Danmei novels. On the back of my shirt, I wrote, "If I had a time portal, I would definitely use it to travel back in time during the medieval period and travel beyond the future, for me to be able to experience what it was like in the past and what it would be like in the far future."

Globalization of trade isn't ending, despite Covid, war, inflation

According to the news from CNBC, forecasts for global trade to slow down as supply chains reposition through nearshoring and reshoring of manufacturing operations is not happening, according to a new report by DHL Express and the NYU Stern School of Business.

Trade is expected to grow slightly faster in 2022 and 2023 than it did in the previous decade, despite the headwinds of Covid, a global economic slowdown and the war in Ukraine.

Some of the key points from the news are:

• Trade is expected to grow slightly faster in 2022 and 2023 than it did over the previous decade, according to a new report from DHL and the NYU Stern School of Business.

• Many companies backed away from reshoring and nearshoring plans, leading trade to grow faster in emerging economies close to China.

FILA

One of the clothing companies that I found in my closet is Fila. International sportswear giant Fila was established in Biella, Italy in 1911 by the Fila brothers, nestled among the foothills of the Italian Alps. Fila gained global attention for its instantly recognisable tennis apparel in the 1970s, and has since expanded their design portfolio to include sporting apparel across a wide range of codes including golf, training, running and compression wear.

Cargill, Incorporated is a privately held American global food corporation based in Minnetonka, Minnesota, and incorporated in Wilmington, Delaware. Founded in 1865, it is the largest privately held corporation in the United States in terms of revenue. Cargill operates in 70 countries and regions globally and holds market leading positions in commodities including soya beans, cocoa and palm oil.

The artist I like the most is Enhypen.

Enhypen is a South Korean boy band formed by Belift Lab, a joint venture between CJ ENM and Hybe Corporation, through the 2020 survival competition show I-Land. The group is composed of seven members: Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon and Ni-ki. (_)

Truthfully speaking, Enhypen became popular because of their talent, visuals, adorableness, coolness, their duality is truly admirable. Not to mention their songs, their mellifluous voice, the synchronization when they dance, they're truly amazing. Coming from a survival show which was watched by throughout the world gave Enhypen a solid, hardcore fans who are used to voting for their lives and would fight anyone who comes for their faves. They had their own reality program, which gave the viewers plenty of time to get used to and begin to like them. The show was massive in scale, thus there were more opportunities to become well-known. The first time that i heard of them was when my Spotify playlist played one of their songs called "Upper Side Dreamin'" I loved it so much so I searched the artist and that's how I started to stan them. I watched their survival show and every music videos they had and then I stanned them harder after that.
