He had wanted to contact Michel for so long-- almost a full four years now. But Cyril knew if he did, he’d only be putting them in danger. He knew that excuse clearly wouldn’t fly with Michel, they could very obviously handle themselves. However, Cyril knew angry masses of Grindelwald supporters were still out there. They knew he got away, and Cyril would kick himself if they ever got a hold of Michel. Cyril couldn’t imagine them going through all the torture and agony he did. Cyril was still recovering from it all, it was mostly mentally now. He couldn’t sleep at night without getting nightmares, but maybe having Michel around again could quell them for just a little while.

When he got the call about the need for his mediating skills, Cyril scoffed and almost hang up. But then they mentioned Michel and how they were in the hospital, and Cyril apparated on the spot to the hospital. He angrily pushed through the doors, some people staring at him in disbelief-- he had been thought dead for the last four years. Cyril burst into Michel’s hospital room, locking it behind him because he knew they’d need the privacy as they dealt with this. “You look like an angel if I’ve ever seen one.” Cyril’s voice was calm, though his face was still bright red from making his way through the maze that was the hospital. “Afraid we’re not in heaven though.” He spoke softly, sitting at the edge of Michel’s bed.

For the last four years, Cyril Malfoy had been presumed dead after he completely disappeared. Cyril often disappeared, but the last time, not even his family or closest friends were able to contact him. He’d been kidnapped by former Grindelwald followers who were angry that he had brought in the last of the acolytes years ago. After his escape, Cyril discovered everyone thought he had died-- so to keep from bringing up any more emotions, Cyril retired to a small home in Venice. Just that previous night though, Cyril received a call tipping him off that Michel Delacour was hurt. And that the Knights of Walpurgis and the Order of the Phoenix were going to need an experienced mediator as they attempted to work together against this new threat.

Cyril apparated to the site of a small pub where a supposed meeting was happening between both Knights and Order members to discuss the events of the rally. He pushed open the pub doors and smirked, “you’re telling me I only had to die for everyone to get in the same room?”

☆ ( michael trevino, cis male, he/him) ☆ that over there would be ( cyril malfoy ), the ( 32 ) year old ( pureblood ) who ( did ) fight during the global wizarding war. they attended ( hogwarts ) and are a ( gryffindor ) alum. which is fitting considering they are ( honorable ), yet ( fleeting ). they are ( non-affiliated ) and also work as a ( mercenary ). every time i see them, it’s like ( o children by nick cave & the bad seeds ) is playing in my head. ( war stories by the fire, tattoo sleeves on both arms, and a warm comforting laugh. ). ☆ ( marlene, 21, she/her, & pst).

cyril malfoy is the second oldest child of balaurius and desdemonia malfoy. his older sister is edwarlinda, and his younger siblings are cassius and medusa. cyril and his siblings are cousins of minister abraxas malfoy.

cyril and his older sister are one of the very few malfoys who ended up being sorted into gryffindor. and contrary to popular belief, cyril actually ended up enjoying his time in gryffindor. he made close friendships in ways that he felt slytherins didn’t normally make. they were based on genuine appreciation and care as opposed to being for the sake of familial relations.

while in school, cyril was proficient at dueling-- earning great respect from all the houses when it came to dueling competitions. he goes down as one of the best in hogwarts history. cyril also enjoyed the muggle history classes that were offered, taking a particular interest in the history of muggle warfare. he always had his nose in a book, learning about a world he could only dream of being a part of. muggles didn’t have magic to make everything go their way, they had to physically deal with their problems.

some time after he graduated hogwarts, cyril took off-- telling most people he was going to care for a sick relative and didn’t know when he’d be back. his parents eventually found out that their son was making a career out of being a mercenary for hire. cyril spent some time in egypt, assisting the people of egypt in protecting their tomb from archaeologists that wanted to uncover it. 

after spending four years in egypt, cyril focused on tracking down those of grindelwald’s acolytes that escaped prosecution he’s found a good amount and put them in auror custody so they could go on trial. after becoming a hero to his home country of england, cyril took off once again.

in 1963, right when strange things began happening in the muggle world, cyril disappeared and not even his family could contact him. he was pronounced dead and has been mourned for the last four years. cyril was actually imprisoned deeply underground in berlin by angry followers of grindelwald that were trying to plan their former leaders jailbreak. cyril was eventually able to escape and heard about his “death”. he decided to settle down in venice...

at least until he got word that a new villain was coming to power back in england. and that one of his oldest, closest friends michel had been seriously hurt. cyril is now making his reappearance after thought being dead for four years. he’s been hired by both the knights and the order to act as their mediator as they attempt to work together to find out who this new villain is.
