Czechia is a new Kingdom, only 27 years old. The Kolowrat-Krakowsky are an old noble family in Europe - splitting from the Kolowrat family in the 15th century they are the only surviving branch. They’ve seen the region though it’s various kings and empires, through nazi occupation and the communist regime. In the early 90′s the two heirs and brothers not always through the most legal means won back power and support in the region splitting the country (czecholovakia) between the two. The oldest, Dominik became king of Czechia. His second wife, Clarissa and their children: Zigmund, Cyril and Adriana formed the new royal family. Dominika, the only child of Dominik’s previous marriage was also granted the title of princess. Later Dominik and Clarissa welcomed a last child: Nik.

THE HALF SISTER

Name: Dominika Helena Kolowrat-Krakowsky (first and middle name UTP as long as they are Czech) Age: 39-41 Fc: Maggie Q or any half white fc Personality: Dominika was never promised a crown. She wasn’t promised much truly. She was never mistreated but she always felt other. Reminder and symbol of her mother’s betrayal, of her shortcomings. As young child she learned to distance herself from anyone and anything that would smudge her image. As the oldest daughter of Dominik many expected her to be named heir, and while the decision was never formal the world knows her younger brother - half brother - is her father’s heir. He was young when he’s father got his crown but he was aware of the change. Of the attention he now commanded, of the power he now held as next in line. THE SPARE

Name: Cyril Emanuel Kolowrat-Krakowsky (first and middle name UTP as long as they are Czech) Age: 37ish Fc: Antoni Porowski or any fitting fc Personality: Cyril was given a lot more freedom compared to his brother. Only a year younger than Zikmund, born out of his father’s wish to create an empire and provide adequate prove of maintaining his dynastic line, he was however allowed to be educated by his mother. Father is a loving man when he has the time, the patience for children. It’s a pity so much takes precedence, specially on the formative years of Cyril’s life. So he looks for it in other places and other people. He doesn’t have a clear role, a clear purpose. He doesn’t need to prove himself like Nika, nor does he have shoes to fill like Zik. THE PRINCESS

Name: Adriana Petra Kolowrat-Krakowsky (first and middle name UTP as long as they are Czech) Age: 33-35 Fc: Crystal Reed or any fitting fc Personality: Adriana was the youngest child for almost 10 years before Nik was born. This coupled with her distance from the crown and her age gave her a freedom to define herself outside it. It was her father’s great feat and yet her live was barely different, of course this had more to do with Adriana’s nature than her situation. Adriana was a born ruler, with an acute sence of importance from a young age. She was often seen dictating playtime with her brothers or other children and there was very few things that happened in Prague from her teen years to now that she didn’t have a hand in, or previous knowlage of.

THE BABY

Name: Niklas Vilém Kolowrat-Krakowsky (TAKEN) Age: 25 Fc: Elliot Fletcher. Personality: Nik was the only one born into the crown. This shaped his childhood simply because he remembered no other time- his brother’s and Dominika would often tell him of his luck in this matter. Nik was born with the unique trait of having nothing to fight for. And yet since he managed to walk all he did was look for them. His voice made to scream and his hands made to do. He came out as trans to his family officially a few weeks before his 18th birhtday, but in one way or another all the siblings knew before. From fights, or throw away lines, or drunken nights or simple obsevation. Maybe they didn’t have a name for it until then - but the anger and resentment had been inside his eyes from his second on this world.

I think these two photos I badly photoshoped on his first time around really explains his character. (yes he was giving out the yellow tshirts at a royal event. To other royals. It went… well.)

basically he’s extremely pulitically active - mostly on LGBT+ issues as well as he’s been really involved in anti-war movements both in czechia and around the world.

He’s also never going to shut up about it.

He’s a little more calm than before thought in other areas - less confrontational in one to one conversations cause he’s a little more grown up. But protesting at events will still happen

I changed his school backgroud a bit tho - for lower studies he did them in switzerland cause apperantly so did every royal in this au.

he was a bit more original for higher studies tho - he studied at the royal academy of music in london for the violin and he’s a professional violinist.

And while the Kolowrat-Krakowsky is a old family - they’re new royals. Nik’s dad wasn’t born a prince - he and his brother got into power somewhat recently and the two divided czechoslovakia and are the current kings of both (cousin wcs coming soon too 😉 )

the other big difference he that he now believes in love. good for him.
