Corny ran a hand through her hair as she considered the question. She had suggested the dancing without much thought. It wasn’t like her but… “Normally I’d be concerned about the social etiquette and all, but everyone is milling about and away from their tables at this point, so I’m pretty sure if we lead, they’ll follow.” She followed suit and finished off her drink as well, smirking at Daisy. “I’d like nothing more.” The blonde replied, following her onto the dance floor.

“Well I love to be a leader and have a great group of followers.” Daisy happily pulled her into the dance floor. The fact that she had such a beautiful person in her hands reach - and knowing eyes where on them just ruffled her feathers more. Twirling her under her arm she pulled Cornelia in by the waist. Hopefully no one gets too jealous that I already scooped you up.”

Louie squinted at the camera screen, covering it with his free hand. After a minute’s hesitation, he shook his head and proceeded to play around with the aperture once more. The picture was good, but he knew he could get an even better one. It’d been a while since he’d just taken a break from work as a buyer and at the galleries and practiced his beloved hobby, and he was started to think his camera resented him. “Why are you being so mean to me?” He whispered to it. A shuffle made him realize he was not alone and he looked up at the girl with a sheepish grin. “Sorry, I didn’t realize I wasn’t alone with the camera.”

Daisy grumbled as she kicked away some schrub that was sticking to her leggings . Looking up she raised a brow as she watched the other carefully talk to his camera. With a smirk she waited till he noticed her and just let out a small laugh. “Have you named your baby? This is Luna.” She started waving her own camera. “I didn’t expect many people out here either , but look at us. Two photographers - what silly fate.”

“If ya keep up with those pristine pick up line I’m sure it won’t be long ‘fore ya find somebody.” He joked. “Photography sounds like a lotta fun. Closest I get to quality pictures is those filters on Snapchat when I remember I even have that on m’phone.”

“Oh I’m not really looking to find someone. I’m more just playing around. Living while you’re young sort of thing.” She waved it off. That and the idea of settling scared her greatly. Raising a brow she looked towards him. “You use Snapchat? You don’t seem at all like the type.”

Daisy huffed softly hearing him. “I should’ve known someone like you would already be spoken for. No fun at all.” She grumbled before letting out a small laugh. “The good ones are always taken. Hm? Oh no. I’m more into photography than anything musical related.”

Waiting the pick fall she just smirked a little more to herself. “I didn’t mean to get you flustered. Though I can imagine the topic at hand would do that to some that need a bit of a release.” She winked before laughing. “I am listening.”

“Ya know, I wouldn’t realy anger m’gal by continuin’ down this road. She can get scary sometimes, don’t let her smallness confuse ya.” He shook his head again. “Ya play anythin’?”

Waiting the pick fall she just smirked a little more to herself. “I didn’t mean to get you flustered. Though I can imagine the topic at hand would do that to some that need a bit of a release.” She winked before laughing. “I am listening.”

Trusty’s strumming faltered causing the guitar pick to fall to the ground. Shaking his head he picked it up and began playing an old country song. He raised a brow and looked to the blonde. "Ya know, usually folks like to just listen to the music whenever someone’s playin’.”

Trusty looked up as he heard someone approaching, a look of embarrassment on his face. “It’s been a bit since I broke out the guitar so I’m a ‘lil rusty. Sorry if ya ears are bleedin’.” He chuckled.

“I’m not really certain how to tell you this without sounding a little silly, but you should move soon. There are two lovebirds who like to coo at each other on that bench and they meet up every day at noon. If you’re sitting there they might peck at you.”

Daisy looked up and just grinned. “They coo at each other huh? And peck people? Well I wouldn’t mind getting pecked. Been pecked a few times.”

Daisy laughed under her breath and nodded. “Standards are only meant for the ones I plan on settling with. That’s if... I ever plan on settling.” she shrugged softly. “You just never know who’s going to come around and ruffle up those feathers.” Winking towards the other she listened. “Behave? So you know them?”

“That was Max.” Atticus smile brightened up at the sight of his best friend. He wasn’t really expecting to run into anyone that early in the day, so he was glad it was one of his favorite people that found him. “He’s the one that gave me that pocket stress ball that’s on my desk, I think you’ve seen it.” He laughed softly at Daisy’s remark, shaking his head. “‘Aside from severely doubting that, I’m joyfully taken.” Atty couldn’t hide the warmth in his gaze as he said so. “Did you already have a plan for today or…?” The man asked with a hopeful voice.

  “Oh, I’ve seen it. My eyes just tend to gravitate towards balls sometimes.” She grinned with a small laugh. “Kidding, sorry - that’s really sweet of him. And that stress ball probably does wonders , huh? Guess I should thank the kid and even buy him ice cream or something.” The blonde smiled warmly towards him. “mhm, and please do share the details of that joyfully taken life. I mean you’re glowing saying that - so I assume everything is going great.” Daisy shrugged. “I never really have a plan, I just kinda go with where life takes me - or who takes me.” She stated with a proud smile.

Shock had been standing in the sun for quite a whilenow, trying to catch sight of the guy in the restaurant across the street. Shewas supposed to scare him, maybe rough him up a bit, but since she was prettysure the dude had already dealt with her before, she was hoping a quick glarewould be enough. As soon as she guy walked out, she made sure to kick a nearbytrashcan. When he looked her way, she gave him her worst look and lifted up amiddle finger, guessing that would be a good enough warning as he ran off.That’s when she saw there had been another person walking down the streettowards her, probably able to watch the whole exchange. “Didn’t know thispart of town was so popular at this time of the day. Or anytime, really.” She grumbled.

Daisy couldn’t help but laugh a little bit to herself as she watched everything that had happened. As the blonde caught on to her presence she grinned towards her. “Horrible one night stand, or just not in the mood to deal with men. Both are reasonable explanations for .. that.”

“I don’t think that’d be too cheesy!” She giggled a bit before pulling out her sketchpad, staring a small sketch of a feather. “If it has meaning, I always say go for it! Is that all you would want or would you like to add more?”

  Thinking about it she nodded slowly. Narrowing her eyes a bit as she thought about it. “I think that’s all I would want. I mean if I start getting crazy it’ll take away from the whole simplistic thing or whatever.” She laughed. “Can’t go breaking down that aesthetic.”

As she said a price, Coco’s attention was pulled back and she nodded, grabbing a form from another table. “That sounds perfect–here’s what you need to fill out so I can set aside a pair. Taking the forms from her she smiled looking over them all. “Would a small feather be cheesy? I just mean.. I’m always talking about people ruffling my feathers. And I tend to have an issue with just.. keeping put. Can’t really hold my wings down sort of girl.” She stated with a small laugh. “Yeah, of course! Show me what you got, Sweetums.”

He knew better than to be brash whenever he met the young woman, by his own standards, at least: but anticipation was pushing him forward this time. “Hello. I’m happy that you are… here. I-uh, I’m happy to see you.” Charles sighed out nervously and brushed out the hair off his face, squaring his back as he settled down– the small bag on his hand now weighting the world as he prayed to any outside force his face was still as pale as always. “I’d love to hear about your day, this whole event is wonderful.”

Daisy couldn’t stop the large grin that pulled on her lips the second she heard his voice. Nor could she stop the fluttering in his chest just being around him. Though, she was much, much better at hiding the flutters she had around him. “Oh, you were?  You wouldn’t have been looking for me would you?” She asked with a little flutter of her lashes towards him. “I’m really happy to see you too, Charles.” Reaching out she took his hand and gave a small squeeze. “Easy, sweetums, no need to get all worked up just yet.” She stated with a small laugh. “I haven’t been here all too long, but I was about to find myself something too eat if you want to keep me company. And of course, we’ll have to sit out late tonight and look over the stars. It’s all sorta undertone romantic in a way - forcing people to admire the stars and gaze on them.”

“Of course you can tell me all about it next session, buddy.” He smiled warmly at the young kid, he had grown used to running into some of his patients out of the office… though Max was certainly the only one he had a cool handshake with. “You go have fun.” Atty stood up as the boy walked away, brushing off the light coat of dirt that covered his jeans from kneeling down on the sidewalk; he only noticed the other person standing by once he turned to the side. “Uh, hi.” He greeted with an awkward smile.

Crossing her arms she leaned against a nearby tree and just watched the two of them. Daisy would always have a weak spot when it came to Atty. And to see him with a little kid just ruffled around her feathers a little more. “And who was that ? That was also the cutest thing I’ve seen all day. I wouldn’t be surprised if people start throwing their phone number at you.” She stated with a small wink his way.
