Usability Evaluation in Google

Signing up for usability engineering class in school has aroused my curiosity towards the usability and user experience trend in today’s industry, especially on how a software company like Google, Amazon evaluate their user-oriented application. 

How did they conduct usability testing on their product? Who are the one design the user interface? How did they decide their on-boarding sequence for user sign up? How did they gather the data required for their product design? These questions popped out of my head and they were then being inserted into Google’s search box, in my quest to search for the answers. 

After several hours of researching, I have stumbled upon Google Design  -> a blog for those who are working Google to tell their stories about Google designs and technologies.
