23 years

i just wanted to make a small post for today since today is the 23rd anniversary for the columbine massacre. normally, i would have a better, more put together post for this date but i plan on saving the lengthier posts for later (i plan on making some more posts later on a variety of things) when i can better put together my words.

i could never put into words the pain and hurt still felt to this day because of eric and dylans actions. today is a hurtful day for many and i find it most important to pay respects to those who died senselessly today. those actions, 23 years ago, still shake the world and thrive. it's important to discuss what happened today, but most importantly, discuss the victims and remember them.

cassie bernall, 17 lauren townsend, 18 steven curnow, 14 kelly fleming, 16 daniel mauser, 15 rachel scott, 17 john tomlin, 16 kyle velasquez, 16 daniel rohrbough, 15 corey depooter, 17 william "dave" sanders, 47 isaiah shoels, 18 matthew kechter, 16

those 13 individuals had their lives robbed from them, their futures. there is no excuse for what happened, only explanations. and although eric harris and dylan klebold were also among those who died, they chose their fate, while the other victims did not.
