SNEAKER

A new masterpiece that combines the essence of the designer

Among the flagship stores that opened in Tokyo between last year and this spring, Rick Owens and Chrome Hearts are showing off their unwavering worldviews. Both designers are from LA, and the two have a mutual respect for each other, leading to the release of unique collaboration items.

This time, they collaborated to create a sneaker, which could be said to be one of Rick Owens's signature items. The high-cut sneakers feature a voluminous long tongue, and are adorned with Chrome Hearts silver. The shoelace holes use silver grommets, the shoelace ends have tiny scroll tips, and the side zipper and back side have silver accents.

The sneakers are decorated with a dagger motif and a cross on the front. The sneakers are made of high-quality leather and silver, giving them an overwhelming presence. This masterpiece is a fusion of the designs that are the essence of both brands. The curved toe and narrow width give them a sophisticated silhouette like a boot, but the side zipper makes them easy to put on and take off. The aesthetic sense of Rick, who is well versed in leather, and the carefully selected silver decorations of Chrome Hearts are added to the details, creating a completely new style. This sneaker, which will be released in Japan for the first time, will be available in two colors: black and white.

The combined talents of these two designers, each with a different approach to expression, have resulted in a pair of shoes with a completely new aura.
