It’s not talked about enough that you are allowed to be angry.

It doesn’t mean you aren’t healing. It doesn’t mean you’re failing. For me, it did mean I was healing. It meant I put the blame on the person who deserved it instead of myself.

It doesn’t mean you’re a bad person. We should be mindful of how we react to our anger as there is a difference between constructive and destructive anger, but you are never wrong for feeling angry.

You are allowed to be angry at whoever hurt you. Your anger is a valid and real feeling. And you are not alone.

I completely understand people saying that nonbinary people don’t owe anyone androgyny which is of course true. But this literally goes for every trans person. We seriously need to bring back saying that trans women don’t owe you femininity and trans men don’t owe you masculinity because as a trans guy that doesn’t pass, people take that as an opportunity to tell me I’m not really a trans guy. Not everyone wants to pass, for starters. For me I wish I could but I’ll never be able to. People need to stop acting like being trans is contingent on passing. Some of you need to revisit trans 101 instead of spreading harmful rhetoric against those of us who don’t pass.
