My Two Cents Worth

I’ve seen a post going around where a fellow writer was entrapped by an underage reader just for the sake of attacking.  Last I heard, that writer was off of Tumblr now.    

That’s bullshit.  

We all know that Tumblr can’t control dick in this wasteland and a lot of us are trying to self govern.  And in general, I think we do a HELL of a job. 

We have our disclaimers.  We have marked ourselves explicit.  We put NSFW and 18+ tags on our work.  We have it in our headers that we don’t want children in the ranks. 

Yet the children come.  

I spot check my follower list and I find a 15 year old.  Kudos to you, kid, for honesty.  Shame on you for ignoring the warnings.

Believe me, kid, I don’t know a whole lot more about porn now than when I was 15 either.  Hell, I was writing XXX fanfiction at that age too.  I was pretty good too.  

This is not the place for you.  You don’t belong here.  I’m not going to waste my time explaining why.  If I catch you, you’re out.  No warnings.  No amnesty.  Earn your time.
