      “When your husband is no where to be found– this is really not what I needed.” Elena hissed, eyes falling to her mobile to see if he had contacted. So far, no sign, and she was exceptionally worried about him. “It’s not like Damon to go somewhere without telling me.”

        “Save me the lecture— I don’t need it” Kol raised the glass of bourbon to his lips, and let the lifeless body of the female drop to the ground. He had been feeding, and it wouldn’t end well for him.

“Seems like I missed a lot while I was away. ” she mused. “At least you are passed the teens stage. I’m sure Caroline had a blast with that.” she laughed knowing her personality at that age. “Seems like everyone’s been busy creating families and futures. If only I had the time for that myself.” she replied.

❝ it’s never too late to start a family ! ❞ he breathed.  ❝ family may begin in blood but it doesn’t end in it! ❞ alaric thought about all the teens he helped at the salvatore boarding school for the gifted & how some were without parents.   ❝ there’s other ways to make a family rebekah ! ❞ caroline wasn’t the girls’ biological mother yet, they found a way to make their family work.

When he started talking about Klaus and Stefan Caroline stiffened in her seat, she knew very well how Ric felt about both of them, specially when it came to Klaus. “Yes they are back, and I’m very happy that they are. I’m thrill to be there for Bon during her pregnancy and I’m very glad that Stefan and Klaus have a second chance at life”. Her expression softened and gave him a soft smile, “Don’t worry about me, Ric. I won’t be in any harm, not because of them, that’s for sure”.

❝ how can you be so sure about that caroline when you had feelings for both ? ❞ she had promises him once before that she wouldn’t leave the girls without a mother but with them being older now, he wondered if that promises was void.

“I suppose it’s a good thing my brother is so keen on his little diary of his.Someone needs to make a book about the things that go bump in the night” she smirked. Although their relationship was complicated, Alaric had come to the aid of her family in times of need. “So I hear you have two little girls have two little girls now?” she asked remembering how Caroline spoke of them.

❝ i don’t think i can call them little girls anymore, but yes !  ❞ he smiled. ❝ josie and lizzie. they were born twins, they’re twenty-two now ! ❞ he added.  rebekah had never been an enemy of his, however, when she participate in her brothers’ diabolical plans he often drew the short stick which is why he learned to keep his distance.
