vivziepop writing is too dedicated to the diminishing of nuance in her own story because I guess she’s trying to make the conclusion as neat as possible and I just wanna say that in the second episode of the show she already established that sometimes the show wasn’t going to have neatly tied answers: when stolas tries to explain himself to his daughter and is at a loss for words. A bold choice (an interesting one!) that has failed to be justified through the shows unwillingness to be difficult. The writing is all shadow-combating discourse about the show depicting a “toxic relationship”…?..
