Well they once must have been since you turned both of them. I don't know about that though, I think she just preferred torturing me instead of some quick kill. It made her smile.

Well, I’m the one saying it, so all is well in the end. And that’s fine, they’re not even worth bothering to comprehend. but… she really did hate you, which was kind of funny to see. I was worried she’d accidentally kill you at first, but luckily she was sane enough to know that I would have obliterated her.

Well I don't know what it is either. But I can't say I'm any better than they are. Especially since I don't even know one of them, and all I knew about Aide was that she hated me and owned a bunch of hotels. 

Sounds like a nice way to spend eternity. Sounds second best to spending it painting my nails.

I’m not worried, not with you. With the others - yes, it’s safe to say I should have been a touch more cautious, but you’re different than them, Dahlia. You have what Lucrezia and Aide lacked, and I don’t even know what it even is.

Of course you would come with me. I doubt I'd be able to find my way around the country alone without getting into some form of trouble. Maybe I am over thinking it, but I'm just worried that's all.

I know that, I just don't know where I would go. I don't know if I could control myself around my family, and even if I did go visit them I wouldn't even know what to say. I doubt they would believe that I just decided to get away for a while.

I guess that would be a nice perk...

Dahlia… you’re over-thinking this. What you lost, well, you can get it back when you become a vampire. You wont be restricted to this place anymore. And if you become a vampire, fear is something you shouldn’t be feeling very often. 

And you’ll never forget me - especially if it’s my blood that turns you. Our bond will be eternally strengthened, I’ll be a part of you in a way words can’t even describe.

But not all change is good. When I was taken here I had to start all over and become someone else. I lost everything. I just- I get scared. I don't want to become some monster and forget who I am..and forget you.

What happens after? Everything happens, it all gets better. You’ll be the same person, you’ll just adapt. Just like you did when you got here, and when I claimed you. Change is good, Lobster.

Yeah, I guess that's the smart thing to do. Dwelling on the past isn't going to change anything about the future. 

It is. But usually it's my boy-Alacer that causes a lot of the trouble. So I guess it's a good thing that he's being quiet. 

I was, I still kind of am. But I’m trying not to think about it too much. I just get all insecure and weepy, and it’s not fun. It was his choice to leave, I should move on as soon as possible.

Yeah, it’s been really quiet. Surprisingly so, actually.
