Hello, I need to talk to you about something important. 

It seems that, in the past few days, Cheritz has finally started banning those who were using cheats to take advantage of the game and get HG and chatrooms without paying Cheritz (which is called “stealing” by the way). Some of these people have started a petition with currently 600+ signatures to get Cheritz to unban them despite their actions to take profit from the company illegally and unfairly.

I and my network do not support this petition or these actions. 

I personally am disgusted at how people feel the right that they can ask a small game company in Korea, who have been nothing but generous with how much compensation and free routes they give us, to continue giving free passes to users who were taking advantage of them.

Cheritz is just a small company, working with a customer base of at least 1 million. They have been nothing but helpful and supportive, listening to people’s issues and having an amazing customer service and constantly giving out compensation for every update. They gave us 3 routes for free when other companies would have made people pay for all 5, not just Deep and after/secret ends. The HG costs, which people constantly complain about, is so little compared to the costs of mobile game companies such as Voltage or Solmare (Voltage doesn’t allow you to even read the routes for free, and Solmare’s free games, if you want to go faster, makes you pay $1.50 PER TICKET to play an episode, and an episode is even shorter than a chatroom). Cheritz doesn’t even run ads; they have no revenue besides HG costs. Which means that when people are using cheats to not buy HG and play the game for free, they are directly robbing the game makers of their wages to live/eat/pay their bills.

Again, we do not support the ones making this petition or  giving one star to Cheritz on the app reviews, because they are cheating to take advantage of and demanding that a small game company  make the game completely free, therefore they are not welcome in this fandom. 

Cheritz need to pay their employees to eat, live, pay their bills, and continue developing the game and more games in the future too.

Please support Cheritz and not the cheaters.

Upcoming Game: Konbini Life

Konbini Life is an upcoming game by 2Birds.  The demo was released for ilujam 2!

Synopsis:

After flunking out of University, Natsu has been working the night shift at the local MegaKonbiniMart to make ends meet. She’s got an annoying co-worker who calls her “Flunkee-chan” whose sole purpose in life is to make her miserable. There’s the creepy businessman who’s only interests are of the 2D persuasion, and he can’t help scaring away other customers. The foreigner who buys snacks in bulk and is hiding a secret. And then there’s signs of a customer with sticky fingers.

In this barren world of endless deserts, almost all live their lives upon large fractions of land floating above the surface.

Here there are two types of people: Normals and Abnormals.

Buffalo Seer is an eccentric Abnormal who wants nothing more than to use the magic ability within them; future seeing. However, even within their   society where everyone has a special power, future seeing is considered dangerous and advised against.

Unable to be swayed, Seer finally gains permission to look into their own future, only to receive an unbelievable revelation. Not only have they left Abnormal society, they’re married to someone they’ve never met before.

With visions of happiness in their mind, Seer leaves everything behind and ventures to the part of the land fraction where those without magic live; Normal society.

Seer is going to convince this stranger that they are meant to be together no matter what it takes, even if it means tagging along on an adventure.

In only a few days Seer will learn just how far away that pleasant future is.  

⚜Important:

This is only an initial demo. At the beginning of August a longer, finalized demo will be released. As such this demo features some unfinished art and may have a few bumps when it comes to functionality. But it’s still quite a lot of fun story-wise, so we’ll hope you’ll try it regardless.

Atlus localizing PS Vita RPG Caligula ⊟

I admit that I wasn’t following this game super closely, as I figured I had a pretty good handle on the kind of stuff that went down in a PS Vita game called “Caligula,” but it sounds a lot more interesting than that. 

The RPG features a story by Tadashi Satomi, who worked on the first three Personas, and is about kids in a VR high school who realize that they aren’t in the real world and form a club to try to escape. Each character represents the violation of some kind of taboo, so maybe I kinda do know what’s going down to a degree. Atlus is bringing this game to North America (and Europe, to answer every single question that was about to be asked) next spring, as a PSN release. Just a quick extra game announcement at the end of E3, I guess!

Ace Attorney 6: Details on case 3, two prosecutors return, and a livestream on 5/17

It’s been a month or so since the last batch of AA6 news.  Why don’t we change that?

Well, it wouldn’t be an Ace Attorney game featuring Maya if she wasn’t accused of murder, now would it?

This week’s Famitsu showcases the game’s third case.  When a priest is killed in the middle of a ritual, Maya is arrested and held responsible, leading Phoenix to take up her defense.  Also introduced is the revolutionary forces in Kurain, the “Dragons of Rebellion”.

Also shown is the game’s key art, confirming Edgeworth and Blackquill in the main game.  And finally, we can see that Ema will appear in Kurain as well to lend a hand.

We’ll let you know when full scnas are available!

On top of that: the game will have a special livestream on May 17th, starting at 20:00 JST (4 AM PT, 7 AM ET, 11 AM GMT.)  The stream will feature special footage from the game and the newest info, as well as information on collaboration projects and more.  Since it’s being hosted on YouTube this time, we’ll be able to restream it for folks to chat without issue.  See you all then!
