Okay! So! As a note this msg will be rbed on daily-cubfan too sorry for people who are abt to get double hit w/ this

As you may have noticed, this blog as been... not very active at all. There's a couple reasons for that:

I am FIXATING. Really badly. In Stars and Time is a beautiful game you should buy it if you can and watch a playthrough if you can't. And when I say fixating I mean the sorta fixation where you have every single talking sprite png of one of the characters saved on your PC. It's that bad

My school does things weirdly, and I am subjected to that weirdness. That is to say, this entire month and most of the next I have 1 class all day and guess what it is? Physical activity. I cannot draw while throwing a disc, unfortunately, and most of my drawing time is at school

Summer is coming up, and I plan to be productive and get a job over said summer until next school year. Once again, can't draw while working a register, oops

HOWEVER

This blog is not done forever. I'll dump my headcanons, doodles, and other things here whenever--it just won't be all that daily anymore.

I keep forgetting my French lessons...

I completely missed drawing for today so have headcanons instead related to design/a design explanation!

My interpretation of Cub is a bear hybrid, which is why he has the silly ears and, rarely seen, more anthro-animal legs.

Making a deal with the vex made him one partially, which gifted him vex wings, and three bladed tails--the three total represents his rank: mortal turned vex. Allay hybrids turned vex have two tails, and pure hybrid vexes have 1!

The sculk gave him horns, which in my original design were styled more closely to warden horns, but I've changed then to stand straight up like irl goat horns! The sculk left him with scars under his eyes that look Vaguely like fancy lashes, though only the scars under his right eye remain bc he kinda exploded the other's away with a Larger scar aka fireworks!!
