just an fyi to hawkgirl fans for the Superman movie-

The Hawkgirl seen here, played by Isabela Merced, is Kendra Saunders! She’s been Hawkgirl since 1999, and has been both a member of the justice league and justice society. She’s a great character and I recommend checking her out!

But if you’re curious on how to tell apart Kendra from Shayera, here’s how:

Shayera has also been going by Hawkwoman since the 80’s, with the exception of the DCAU!

Regardless, all the Hawk-ladies are awesome and I hope you all enjoy seeing Kendra getting some time to shine on the big screen!

I've been reading Pre-Crisis Katar and Shayera and found out that her earrings are the Thanagarian equivalent to a wedding ring! Which is why I propose Katar should, by rights, also wear earrings and mope whenever he has to take them off to play human.
