hi hello your OC tags have intrigued me please. More OC crumbs please 🤲

hehe YES i am abnormal about my ocs so ill offer some more stuff about this. this is mostly gonna focus on the ocs in the tags of the last post but i will give a bit of stuff about others who didnt make it into the tags but who i love.

this was supposed to just be a few things but i got yapping so all stuff under cut!

main importance to all this is some world building- it all takes place in a superhero kinda world, with superpowers being the result of nuclear testing gone wrong. Through reproduction, the majority of the world then gained these powers, creating a superhuman society. Only a few are born without powers. Genetics plays a big part in the passing on of powers because I like that side of science and yapping about it. I'd say its autosomal and also co-dominant but also i havent studied that in a while so dont take my word for it. obviously powers resulted in villains which the government fought back against by creating heroes yay

rose briar - big family name due to flower business. selective relationships in her family to continue passing on plant based powers. mom's affair causes powers where the flowers only grow out of rose's skin. she now works in a cafe and is doing her best to control her powers. also her family has a naming system where all the children are named off the first flowers or plant they grow

beau torres - my silly little fashion influencer. she is a trans girl who moved into 'the big city' as her fashion social media grew big and immediately got herself into trouble. she can pause and unpause time and has been saving people with that but that is illegal so now she's running from the law who dont know its her but just know that its someone-

helios patterson (+ georgie and unnamed husband) - goofy ass guy who somehow got a job as a mechanic on the newest space mission. on lift off day he met georgie, who was a lab baby genetically modified to have a specific power and be developed into a weapon, but the thought of that happening to this tiny child broke his heart so he just. kidnapped the child onto the spaceship. no other thought about it like 'oh a spaceship isnt a good place for the kid maybe we find a new solution' or 'when i get back to earth they'll just get the kid again'! anyway now they're in space with this toddler and oh god suddenly his husband has a strange parasite in his body that feeds on humans. this man is going full among us imposter on these other crewmates and helios is just here for the ride, helping where he can to keep him and georgie safe.

some other fun ones include dawn (escaped from child fighting ring then returning undercover thinking she's helping but the government is really just trying to find kids who could be good heroes), kage (him and his twin sister were dark and light, and after she died he didnt know how to move on. later on has a kid who is just like his sister and she teaches him to live again), cola (chipmunk who got shapeshifting powers and is trying to learn to be human), otto (genetically modified lab baby who grew up and whose power is now trying to rip apart) and jodie (new hero trying to live up to family hero name but failing miserably due to a mutation resulting in their power being deemed useless, leaving them to rely only on support items to be as strong as their family)
