ok listen i don't have the braincells to write proper fic rn but I still need to get some of my servasha thoughts out of my system and this is my blog no one can stop me i will talk abt these women.

the fact that. both of their relationship with their field of science has been wildly tested by someone they genuinely cared for (cocolia, vache) and it's someone whose influence in their life they've not only come to terms with, but each had to find closure with as seen in their character stories.

like i don't think serval would've stayed on jarilo without finally freeing herself of her cocotrauma the same way natasha would've never truly practiced medicine to her fullest potential while she kept living under vaches shadow.

theyre both incredibly smart and self sufficient but they're also — people — two women that had to face that which at that point shattered their whole worldview and were given no choice but to keep going. natasha for the good of the underworld, and id argue serval for the good of her siblings AND the overworld.

music is a form of healing, after all.

not to mention they 1) have met even if werent given much interaction 2) with serval wishing to return to her work and natasha being in a position of power in the underworld the chances of them having to work together are relatively high to me.

i also think it's cute that they're both sisters. the second natasha and serval start dating, natasha is all over serval's siblings. geppie has to deal with two of them now.

anyway! my takeaway is that them having a relationship is not something they need to heal but it'd be a good, mutual respect and uplifting experience. serval doesn't need natasha to get over cocolia but she'd still enjoy feeling loved again. natasha doesn't need serval to know her worth but having someone reinforce it can to a long way.
