I think the main problem with the crowd funding is that they amped up the teen drama in the first movie so everyone thinks this one is going to be the same. But I just really hope they decide to go along with making the movie anyway even though we probably won't get it funded. Frostbite is super important to everyone. Maybe they can cut costs somewhere?

Not to be bitter or anything, but if the book had been well adapted we wouldn’t be now in this condition of having to raise $1,500,000 :(

Maybe they’re cutting costs already, which doesn’t seem good if we want to have a great adaptation.

It's set slightly before the first book, so you have the opportunity to shape things however you would like. Anything can happen now!
