Set in Order Exodus  40:4  And thou shalt bring in the table, and set in order the things that are to be set in order upon it; and thou shalt bring in the candlestick, and light the lamps thereof. Praise the Lord!! Today we will meditate upon living a life in orderliness. Orderliness is associated with other qualities such as cleanliness and diligence, and the desire for order and symmetry, and is generally considered to be a desirable quality. It is very important that we follow an order in our lives. As God is an orderly God. He never does things haphazardly and confused. Everything has its perfect place and time. Similarly he expects his child to set their life in order. We can find in the scripture that God has given specific instructions to his children in the areas where they need set in order. 1. Order in your offering (Leviticus 6:12) It is said God loves a  cheerful giver. Also God loves when you give your offering in an order. Many times we take due care to micro manage our future by making investment so that our future and future of our family is secured. There is nothing wrong with that!! However when it comes to giving to God and his ministry we tend to follow a haphazard pattern and don't give him orderly, regularly and systematically. If we follow a system in giving God will definitely honour that. 2. Order in your fellowship ( Leviticus  24:8 ) Israelites were given specific instructions to honour the Sabbath. That was the time to rest in the Lord. To enjoy the fellowship of the Lord. Many times we spend our time with family and forget that we have a saviour who is yearning to hear your voice. And his heart cries out " My Child!! Where are you?". Yes Saints there has to order in fellowship. Set a time, day, place to have fellowship with him. 3. Order in Service ( 2 Chronicles 29:35) Many are called but few are chosen. But if we still follow this world and don't pay heed to his calling. We are grieving the Holy Spirit. We need to have a order in serving the Lord. We are not part time servants of the Lord. We have been called and chosen to do business for his kingdom through our talents. 4. Order in words. ( Job 33:5) We should be very careful while speaking anything about anyone. As we will be judged on the words we have spoken. There has to be order in your words. Think before speaking!! 5. Order in Steps ( Psalms 37.23) Psalms  37:23  The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.   We should always think before going to places and doing things. We should ask ourselves. Would God be happy if I go to this place? Will be pleased if I do these things? If you honour Him he will honour you. 6. Order in house ( Isaiah 38:1) God wants order in our homes. There has to be set time for family prayer, bible reading and enjoying the fellowship of the Lord. He is a God of peace and if your home is not in peace you need to ask his help to set your house in order. 7. Order in your walk. ( Acts 21:24) Walk lawfully and don't take matter in your own hands. Know that He is Lord and will be honoured by the heathen. He will fight your battles. 1 Corinthians  14:40  Let all things be done decently and in order.  Saints we are living in end times. If Holy Spirit has spoken to you. Please don't harden your hearts and submit to his will. Sinner Prayer Lord Jesus, for too long I’ve kept you out of my life. I know that I am a sinner and that I cannot save myself. No longer will I close the door when I hear you knocking. By faith I gratefully receive your gift of salvation. I am ready to trust you as my Lord and Savior. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for coming to earth. I believe you are the Son of God who died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead on the third day. Thank you for bearing my sins and giving me the gift of eternal life. I believe your words are true. Come into my heart, Lord Jesus, and be my Savior. Amen. God Bless

Called to Serve Exodus  36:2 And Moses called Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whose heart the LORD had put wisdom, even every one whose heart stirred him up to come unto the work to do it: Praise the Lord!! Today we will meditate upon believer's calling. Matthew  22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen. When we are adopted into God's family. We are called to serve Him. We are entrusted with responsibility to enlarge his kingdom. We are given talents or ministries which are useful in bringing more souls for the Lord. However, sometimes we are lazy, ignorant or fearful to acknowledge that talent and don't bring fruits for His kingdom. How can we recognise that we have a talent. 1. God will give his spirit of wisdom and understanding so that which seemed impossible in the beginning would be possible by his grace. 2. You will be zealous to do his work. You would want to work for him out of love and not under pressure. 3. You would not wait for appreciation or motivation from others. You will be self motivated to work for the Lord. Sometimes, we recognize our calling but don't take steps to move ahead. Yes!! There is a reward for every work you do for the kingdom. Amos  8:7  The LORD hath sworn by the excellency of Jacob, Surely I will never forget any of their works. Remember God will not forget your works for Him. That work which would appear trivial in your eyes, God keeps it in highest esteem. What would be the reward for not using your talents? Revelation  2:5  Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. 1. You will be termed unfruitful for the kingdom of God. 2. You will grieve the Lord and face his wrath. 3. You will not enter into the joy of the Lord. It is written " Don't grieve the Holy Spirit". We are running a race of faith, if we do well we will receive a certificate " Good and Faithful Servant". Matthew  25:21  His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. Saints, we are here to do business for the Lord. Our sole aim should be to win souls for the Lord using our talents. Recognise which talent Lord has given you and bring souls for the Lord. We have to spread the gospel so that many will be saved and receive Jesus in their hearts. 1 Corinthians  9:16  For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel! Prayer Lord Jesus, for too long I’ve kept you out of my life. Amen. God bless

Cheerful Giver Exodus  36:6 And Moses gave commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed throughout the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman make any more work for the offering of the sanctuary. So the people were restrained from bringing. Praise the Lord!! Today we will meditate upon Giving. It is written " Give and it shall be given". In old testament Israelites would give with willingness of heart. In new testament Jesus taught his disciples in giving. Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. Whom should we give? We should give to the Lord the creator of heaven and earth. For He deserves our giving. Genesis  2:4  These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens, What should we give to the Lord? 1. We should give him praise each day for the goodness. 2. We should give him thanks for his faithfulness. 3. We should give him offering and tithes for the provision. 4. We should give him honour for He is God. 5. We should give him Glory for his magnificence. Why should we give God? 1. He gives us and our descendants blessings of Abraham.( Genesis 28:4) 2. He gives us favour in the sight of people. ( Genesis 39:21) 3. He gave us the law and his commandments which keeps us from sinning. ( Deuteronomy 9:11, Nehemiah  9:13) 4. He gives us our enemies possession. ( 2 Samuel 12:8) 5. He gives us wisdom and understanding. ( 1 Kings 4:29) 6. He gives us long life. (Psalms 21:4) 7. He provides us during the times of trials. (Psalms 74:14) 8. He gave his only son Jesus for our sins so that we can get eternal life. ( Isaiah 50:6, John 3:16) Saints, let's give Lord willingly and cheerfully what is due to him. As it is said. 2 Corinthians  9:7  Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. Prayer. Lord Jesus, for too long I’ve kept you out of my life. Amen. God Bless

God's Glory Exodus  33:18  And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory. Praise the Lord!! Today we will meditate upon glory of God. Glory means giving highest honour to any person. God's Glory can be seen, hence Moses wanted to see God's Glory and pleaded God to show His Glory. God says He will not share his Glory with anyone.(Isaiah  42:8). Jeremiah pleaded people to give Glory to God.(Jeremiah  13:16 ) for God is pleased when his children Glorify Him. Why should we give God Glory? We should glorify God because 1. He is the LORD who exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth (Jeremiah 9:24) 2. He is the provider for all being. 3. He is all knowing and omnipresent in your situations. 4. He knows all the temptations and trials you are going through. 5. He is a loving father. 6. He protects you from every dangers surrounding your life. 7. He keeps your feet from stumbling in the darkness. Isaiah  42:12  Let them give glory unto the LORD, and declare his praise in the islands.   When we glorify God knowingly; He gives his glory to his children. Isaiah  60:1 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.  What does the glory of God do for you? 1. His glory covers your nakedness. (Genesis 2:25) 2. His glory will present you blameless to his throne.(1 Peter 1:7) 3. His glory will work in your tribulations. (Ephesians 3:13) 4. His glory will supply all your needs. ( Philippians 4:19) 5. His glory will make you partaker to Lord's suffering. (1 Peter 4:13) 2 Thessalonians  2:14  Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. Yes we can obtain his glory through Jesus Christ. If you repent for your sins, accept Jesus as your Lord and saviour, lead a life pleasing to God. Take baptism and seek God daily. He will give his glory to you and present you blameless before his throne. Revelation  21:23  And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. Yes Saints!! If you want to be a citizen of that country. Then glorify God everyday. Know that he is coming soon for you. Hold on to your faith and do the work pleasing to him. Prayer Lord Jesus, for too long I’ve kept you out of my life. Amen. God Bless

God who deserves the first place Exodus  34:19 All that openeth the matrix is mine; and every firstling among thy cattle, whether ox or sheep, that is male. Praise the Lord!! Today we will meditate upon the God who alone deserves the first place. Some translation says the "everything that is first is mine" Every day we need to be careful in understanding who is influencing us. If we don't bother and go as the rest of world. We will not be able to perform task to the full potential. (Ecclesiastes 11:9) You need to keep the God in the first place. Why God deserves the first place? 1. He is Alpha and Omega ( Revelation 22:13) 2. He is the Lord your God (Leviticus 25:17) 3. He is the rewarder of your efforts.( Deuteronomy 2:7) 4. He fights your battles.( Deuteronomy 1:30) 5. He approaches you when you are in trouble. ( Deuteronomy 4:7) What would happen if we don't give God the first place? Abel and Cain both sacrificed their offerings to the Lord. Abel's sacrifice was accepted but Cain's sacrifice was rejected. The reason is Abel gave God first place. Genesis  4:4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:  Genesis 4:5 But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell. In what way can we keep God in first place? 1. Glorify God every morning for the strength he gives you to carry out the work. ( Isaiah 33:2) 2. Glorify God for leading you in a right path. (Isaiah 42:16) 3. Glorify God for every good work he works on you. ( Proverbs 16:3) Saints, if we don't give God the first place he deserves. Thus saith the Lord. Genesis  4:7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him. Today if you are not giving him the first place. Repent for your sin and come back to him. He will forgive you in his abundant mercies. Yes!! He is a Jealous God. Praise him, Love him with all your heart, mind and soul. God Bless

Jealous God Exodus  34:14 For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God: Praise the Lord!! Today we will meditate upon the Lord whose name is jealous. Jealous meaning: fiercely protective of one's rights or possessions. Many people have misinterpreted this word and turned their hearts from God. Recently in an interview a famous media person who was once a Christian turned Satanist on reading this word. She was so troubled by the truth that God is a Jealous God. She couldn't understand why should God be jealous. Let's understand why God calls himself as a Jealous God. Why is God jealous? 1. He is jealous because he cares for you. ( 1 Peter 5:7) 2. He is jealous because you are his prized possession.( Ephesians 1:14) 3. He is jealous so that you will inherit the kingdom of God. (1 Peter 1:4) 4. He is jealous so that you can be holy as he is Holy. ( 1 Peter 1:16) 5. He is jealous so he can present you blameless on the Judgement day. ( 1 Thessalonians 5:23) Saints, sometimes Lord chasten us for our mistakes. But that doesn't mean that he doesn't love us. 2 Samuel  7:14  I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men:   Job  5:17  Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty: Yes our Lord is a jealous God who will not tolerate his children being sold to sin. Be watchful in this world and please God with all the heart, mind and soul. Isaiah  49:15  Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Yes!! As a mother is protective and jealous about her child. Our Lord is jealous of you. He will bring all your desire to pass. Let's worship him in the beauty of holiness. God Bless

What are you mindful of? Romans  8:5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. Praise the Lord!! Today we will meditate upon things we need to be mindful of. We have always heard of this saying " An idle mind is a devil's workshop". Then it means we need to be mindful for something so that devil doesn't take over our thoughts. What does a fleshly mind always think of? 1. Doing evil continuously ( Genesis 6:5) 2. Lust of flesh (Galatians 5:9) 3. Fulfilling the desires of flesh and mind (Ephesians 2:3) What should a Christian be mindful of? 1. Be mindful of his covenant (1 Chronicles 16:15) 2. Be mindful of his wonders and blessings (Nehemiah 9:17) 3. Be mindful of Jesus and his sacrifice for us. ( Isaiah 17:10) 4. Be mindful of the rock of your strength (Isaiah 17:10) What would we benefit by being spiritually minded? We would receive these blessings if we set our minds to Christ. 1. His blessings will make you rich and add no sorrow to you ( Proverbs 10:22) 2. God will be your exceeding great reward ( Genesis 15:1) 3. God will establish a covenant between you and Him to bless you and your household eternally. (Genesis 17:12) The question is how can we be spiritually minded in this world. As Isaiah said. Woe to me as I am in midst of unclean lips. How can you think spiritually in this world? 1 John  3:9  Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. You need to be born of God ( born again) to remain blameless and spiritually minded. How can we be born of God? 1.You need to confess all your sins to Jesus. 2. You need to accept Jesus as your Lord and saviour. 3. You need to take water baptism for the righteousness sake. 4. You need to invite the Holy Spirit in your hearts and surrender yourself in his hands. Once you do all these things you can be assured that you will become spiritually minded as he will keep you holy and blameless untill that judgement day. Saints, we are living in end times and every word that proceeds out of our mouth will be judged. Be spiritually minded!! Revelation  3:20  Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. God Bless

Tabernacle of God Exodus  33:7  And Moses took the tabernacle, and pitched it without the camp, afar off from the camp, and called it the Tabernacle of the congregation. And it came to pass, that every one which sought the LORD went out unto the tabernacle of the congregation, which was without the camp.   Praise the Lord!! Today we will meditate upon the Tabernacle of God. Tabernacle means meeting place of worship. In old testament we found the tabernacle was pitched outside the camp of the Israelites. Why was tabernacle build? 1. Israelites sought the Lord for guidance. ( Exodus 33:7) 2. They came together to worship the Lord (Psalms 84:1) 3. They came to tabernacle to fellowship with the Lord (Psalms 132:7) But that was not God original plan, Lord wanted to dwell with his people. ( Ezekiel 37:27) Ezekiel  37:27  My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.  He promised to raise a tabernacle in the midst of people. (Amos 9:11) ( Acts 15:16)  What does tabernacle mean in new testament? Tabernacle means 1. Believer of Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:1) 2. Children of God who do his will and seek to please Christ. (James 1:23) 3. Children of God who seek his second coming so that we would be with him eternally. (2 Corinthians 5:4) Hebrews  9:11  But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;   New testament tabernacle was built not by hands as it was built in days of Moses. But you are the building of Christ built with Holy Spirit in a perfect manner. Reason for building a tabernacle in new testament Revelation  21:3  And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 1. God wants to dwell in you. 2. God wants you to be His prized possession. 3. God wants to fellowship with you wherever you go. Saints!! Know that you are the building of Christ hence present your bodies as a living sacrifice. Romans  12:1  I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. God Bless

Presence of the Lord Exodus  33:14 And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest. Praise the Lord!!! Today we will meditate upon the presence of the Lord. Lord has promised his children that his presence will go with them. Wherever they go. What does the presence of the Lord do to a believer? 1. Presence of the Lord gives you rest from all your troubles. (Exodus 33:14) 2. Presence of the Lord gives you joy in the heart. (Psalms 16:11) 3. Presence of the Lord protects you from stumbling (Psalms 17:2) 4. Presence of the Lord protects you from your enemies. ( Psalms 31:20) 5. Presence of the Lord drives away the wicked plans of the enemy. (Psalms 68:2) 6. Presence of the Lord gives you a thankful heart.(Psalms 95:2) 7. Presence of the Lord will satisfy all your needs (Psalms 100:2) How should we come into the presence of the Lord. 1. We should come with fear and trembling acknowledging the sins we have committed in his presence.(Psalms 114:7) ( Jeremiah 5:22) 2. We should come with full faith and expectations knowing that He will fulfill all our petitions ( Hebrews 10:22) 3. We should come into His presence giving thanks for all the goodness He has done for us. (Psalms 14:13) 4. We should come into his presence with patience knowing that he is the rewarder of our efforts ( Zephaniah  1:7) 5. We should delight in approaching the Lord (Isaiah 58:2) 6. We should come into his presence seeking for his counsel ( Isaiah 58:2) How will we know we are in his presence? 1. When we are in his presence he will speak to us with a small still voice and guide us for the task we need to do. (Isaiah 30:21) 2. We will receive peace in our heart when we come into his presence. (Philippians 4:7) 3. When we will come into his presence we will be filled with hope and joy ( 1 Thessalonians 2:19). Saints, let's speak like Moses. Exodus  33:15 And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence. Let's come into his presence acknowledge him as God and Saviour. He is eager to hear from you and yearns for your fellowship. Hebrews  3:15  While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation. God bless

Atonement Exodus  30:10  And Aaron shall make an atonement upon the horns of it once in a year with the blood of the sin offering of atonements: once in the year shall he make atonement upon it throughout your generations: it is most holy unto the LORD.   Praise the Lord!!! Today we will meditate upon atonement. What is atonement? Why is it necessary? What you need to do to get the atonement? What is an atonement? Dictionary states that Atonement is the action of making amends for a wrong or injury. We live in a world where everyone involuntary says Sorry whether they mean that or not. Mother Teresa once said. Never say sorry. Instead say what can I do to make it right for you. That is a powerful statement!! How can you make it right for the one whom you have done wrong? What can you bring or do so that he forgets all the mistakes you have done? Why is Atonement necessary? When we sin against God we lose the fellowship with him. He calls us again to amend but we become so self-centred that we don't listen to the small still voice. Job was a man of God, upright and righteous, but still when he faced troubles in his life he remembered his sins and iniquities. Job  13:23  How many are mine iniquities and sins? make me to know my transgression and my sin.   King David prayed to God always to keep him from sinning. Psalms  19:13  Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression. But if you have done any sin or mistake is there any atonement? Where should we go? Whom should we meet? What should we do? That is the good news we have a Lord who has made the atonement. If you come to Jesus and repent of your sins and accept him as your Lord and saviour. Lord accepts you as his son and daughter and you don't need to fear for all the mistakes that you have done in the past. Isaiah  1:18  Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. Romans  5:11  And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement. All things are new, you are a new creation. Is this only for new believers. No!! We need to repent for our sins every day. Every time we should come to him and restore the fellowship. All the grudges, frustration, bitterness against the Lord will never give you the desired blessings. Revelation  22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.  Revelation 22:20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. God bless

O Altar, Altar!! Exodus  30:1  And thou shalt make an altar to burn incense upon: of shittim wood shalt thou make it.  Praise the Lord!! Today we will meditate upon the incense. The most important part of the tabernacle. Its importance is shown in God's jealousy that Israel offered strange incense to other gods. What is an incense? Psalms  22:3  But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.   Incense in the old testament were sweet smelling substance which was offered after the lamps were lit by the chief priest. Today incense are prayers and praise that you offer to the Lord. Lord dwells in the praise of his people. Exodus  30:7  And Aaron shall burn thereon sweet incense every morning: when he dresseth the lamps, he shall burn incense upon it.   Every Morning as we offer praise and pray to our Lord Jesus. He comes in midst of us and sanctions our petitions. Psalms  92:2  To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night, Every morning we must remember the blessings and remind him the favour that he did to us. Lord is particularly concerned when his children offer strange incense. What is a strange incense Exodus  30:9  Ye shall offer no strange incense thereon, nor burnt sacrifice, nor meat offering; neither shall ye pour drink offering thereon.   Isaiah  1:13  Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.   Strange incense are: 1. Prayers which are not directed to Jesus. 2. Prayers which are self centered. 3. Prayers which seek harm to others. King David understood the importance of incense and so he write such. Psalms  141:2  Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.  Notice how in Malachi wanted all should offer prayers to him and him alone. Malachi  1:11  For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the LORD of hosts.   Revelation  8:4  And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand. Saints, we are living in end times, Lord Jesus will soon come to judge this world. Pray so that you may not fall into temptation. God bless

Pure oil Exodus  27:20  And thou shalt command the children of Israel, that they bring thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamp to burn always.   Praise the Lord!! Today we will meditate upon oil used for the service. Lord commanded that Israelites should bring oil which are beaten, pure, used for lighting the lamps forever. Oil is similitude to your anointing, when you come to serve the Lord. Come in your Anointing which will break all the bonds and set you in liberty. In new testament Jesus gave us a parable of 10 virgins. 5 of them were wise and 5 of them were foolish. Matthew  25:3  They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:   Matthew  25:4  But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. Let's understand what is this oil and why is this so important in the service to the Lord. Psalms  45:7  Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.   Psalmist says He anoints his people with oil of gladness above all. Those who follow him will be in gladness all the time. They will rejoice in the Lord. They will never be troubled or whining for every trouble that comes their way. Psalms  104:15  And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth man's heart.   This oil is to make your face shine in midst of all your troubles. The Anointing will give a shine on your face, Moses when he went to see the Lord on the mount. His face shone so that nobody could look at him. Isaiah  61:3  To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified. Saints let's enter into the house of the Lord with Thanksgiving in our heart and rejoicing knowing that he will always guide us, protect us and lead us to everlasting life. God bless

Horns of the Altar Exodus  27:2  And thou shalt make the horns of it upon the four corners thereof: his horns shall be of the same: and thou shalt overlay it with brass.   Praise the Lord!! Today we will meditate upon horns of the altar. What is the significance of the horns of the altar. In old testament whenever anyone would sin and wanted forgiveness from his sins. He would catch hold of the horns so that his sins will be forgiven. How were sins forgiven by merely holding the horns? Exodus  29:12  And thou shalt take of the blood of the bullock, and put it upon the horns of the altar with thy finger, and pour all the blood beside the bottom of the altar.   The blood of the bullock would be upon the altar due to which when the person holds the horns Lord would see the blood and forgive the sins. Blood was shed to reconcile with God (Leviticus  8:15), and sanctify the person involved in sin. (Leviticus  9:9)  these ritual would be done by Aaron and his sons who were symbolic to Jesus. Blood is also used as an atonement (Leviticus  16:18). Psalmist says : 2 Samuel  22:3  The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.   Yes!! It is the horn of your salvation, refuge, your high tower. In old testament we found two person who seek forgiveness by holding the horns. 1 Kings  1:50  And Adonijah feared because of Solomon, and arose, and went, and caught hold on the horns of the altar.   1 Kings  2:28  Then tidings came to Joab: for Joab had turned after Adonijah, though he turned not after Absalom. And Joab fled unto the tabernacle of the LORD, and caught hold on the horns of the altar.   In the similar way Jesus died for all so that we can seek forgiveness for all the sins. Now we don't need blood of animals for sacrifice. We have a saviour who has made an ultimate sacrifice by dying on the cross. And third day he rose again. Have you ever wondered what is the similitude of horn in the new testament. Revelation  2:18  And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass; Yes, horns today signify the feet of Jesus. When we catch hold of his feet and when the blood which he has shed for you will run over your hands. Lord will forget all the sins and mistakes you have ever committed. Because Lord said in Isaiah. Isaiah  1:18  Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. Saints, let's come to his presence and reconcile. Our saviour is standing waiting for his children to come. Psalms  18:2  The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. He is the horn of your salvation and your high tower today if you surrender your heart to Jesus. You and your family will be saved. God bless

God of Order Exodus  26:17  Two tenons shall there be in one board, set in order one against another: thus shalt thou make for all the boards of the tabernacle. Praise the Lord!!! Today we will meditate upon setting the things in order. God is God of order, he never works haphazardly, confused, without direction. He knows what is to be done, what he is doing. There are 4 references in Exodus where God tells them to set the things in order. 1. Board of the tabernacle. 2. Candlestick. 3. Table of Shewbread. 4. Shew bread. Why does God wants us to set the things in order? God wants us to understand that setting things in order shows. 1. Mental preparedness. 2. Expectancy of Good things. 3. Knowledge of the Giver. Psalms  20:5  We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfil all thy petitions.   1 John  5:15  And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. When we enter into the house of the Lord, we must remember that we are entering into the house of the creator of the whole heaven and earth and accordingly our thoughts and request must be big. We must never ask for petty things because that will be fulfilled anyways. Petition means : a formal written request, typically one signed by many people, appealing to authority in respect of a particular cause. Notice, when you accept him as a saviour and Lord, he will make you his son and daughter so you are no longer normal but prince and princess. Enemy will always show your circumstances and try to deviate your mind into poverty. But if you have the mindset of Christ, you will have the confidence that he will answer anything you ask him today. John  14:13  And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.   John  14:14  If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. Saints, when you ask from the Lord you must remember 3 things. 1. Have faith that he will listen to your petitions. 2. Know that only he can give you your desires of heart in accordance to his will. 3. Be prepared to expect big things from Lord. Saints when you follow Jesus, you are part of his family, hier to his inheritance. So you can come boldly and ask for all the needs. God Bless

Beaten to Perfection Exodus  25:31  And thou shalt make a candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work shall the candlestick be made: his shaft, and his branches, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, shall be of the same. Praise the Lord!! Today we will meditate upon beaten work. It always surprises me why the Lord should make the candle out of beaten work. Why was it not moulded. D Macmillan commentary says : The workman who fashioned it must have pondered minutely over every part, and bestowed immense labour and skill upon all its details; the pattern and symmetry of the whole must have been clearly in his mind, while from one mass of metal he beat out each shaft and floral ornament Notice how he mention that the workman who fashioned it have the image in the mind and was beating the gold to perfection. If that candlestick had a voice it would have told the workman that it is very painful and he cannot endure it. But the workman would not listen and would beat it till he makes it a masterpiece. Similarly saints when you are tossed and turned in furnace of affliction and wonder why I am going through all the pain. Remember the workman is working on you for perfection. Just keep the faith, do what you have been doing and eventually Lord will lift you up. When a workman beats the candle 1. He has a plan for that candlestick. 2. He has fashioned the outcome in his mind. 3. He is not troubled if candlestick won't agree with him. As eventually he will not leave till he has perfected it. 4. He is patient on that candlestick and will not stop till he makes it a masterpiece, useful for the Lord. Like wise Holy Spirit is working on you. 1. He has a plan ( Jeremiah 29:11) 2. He will never leave you till you are perfected.(Hebrew 13:5). 3. He knows the outcome of your affliction. Saints today when you are feeling dejected and low and wonder when will this problem end? I am here to encourage you to keep the faith. Lord will never allow anything more than we cannot bear. Weeping will be for a night, but your righteousness will shine like a morning star. Jeremiah  31:13  Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow. God bless

Overlaid with Glory Exodus  25:13 And thou shalt make staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold. Praise the Lord!! Today we will meditate upon this wood called Shittim. When I was meditating this verse struck my attention. I wondered why did God choose this wood to make a esteemed peice of work. Ark of the covenant, they could have used lots of other woods. As they were traveling. God could have commanded to collect the choicest wood to make the Ark. Let's understand this wood. 1. Shittim wood grows in desert. 2. Thorny in nature. 3. Always tossed by wind. 4. Hard to get the right size for cutting. 5. Rough and unfinished. 6. Dark in colour, not appealling. 7. Not good for making furniture. What a wonderful God we have!! The wood which is rejected, tossed, unappealing, of no good to anyone. God chooses that wood overlays with gold and makes it a prestigious wood of that time. I might sometimes wonder when the wood would speak to themselves, they would have chided upon Shittim saying we adorn the furniture of rich and famous and you are good for nothing. No!! God has a plan for each one of you. O precious saints when you are tossed and broken down, when you feel that there is no way. God says I am the way, truth and life. Isaiah  43:18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.  Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. Notice God chose a wood which is tossed by wind, how specific he is choosing a vessel for his Glory. He overlays with gold so that all the unappealing colour is hidden. Likewise when you come to Jesus, he overlays you with his glory all the pain, bitterness, ugliness, torment are covered in his glory. Saints come to him today, don't harden your heart. Give your heart to him he will surely make a way for you. God bless

Sanctuary of the Lord Exodus  25:8 And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them. Praise the Lord!! Today we will meditate upon Lord's sanctuary. It was always Lord's wish that he dwell amoung the people. We can find that in Genesis 3:9 Genesis  3:9  And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? Lord wanted to spend his evening with Adam, to dwell with him, instruct him, show him his plans, fellowship with him. Even after Adam fell from glory, Lord was eager to restore that relationship with his children. In Moses unlike how people felt, Lord wanted to dwell amoung them and protect them, keep them holy as he was holy. Psalms  65:4  Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple. Notice how the psalmist calls the man blessed whom 1. Lord had chosen 2. Lord gives him a chance to approach him. 3. Lord makes him dwell in his courts. Why would he want to dwell with him? So that we may be satisfied with the goodness of his house. So how can we then dwell with him everyday, fellowship with him and please him? Paul says in the following verse your body is the temple of the Lord. He mentions to keep it from sinning. 1 Corinthians  6:19  What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?   2 Corinthians  6:16  And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Notice here Lord again mentioned that if we keep our body as a temple. 1. Lord will dwell with us. 2. Lord will walk with us. 3. Lord will be our God. 4. And we will be considered his people. Saints, as you read the words don't harden your hearts. Repent for any sins or mistake no matter how trivial it may seem to your eyes. Make peace with Lord as you are his temple nothing is worth in this world to be deprived of his fellowship. God bless
