"Le Laboratoire Multilatéral National" and the Mk 6 Engineering Combat and Maintenance Powersuit
The LMN (Laboratoire Multilatéral National) is nothing short of a titan of R&D. A singular, all encompassing high technologies agency. It serves to aggregate, sort, and task the scientists of Espocita across multiple development projects. These projects range from the sensible, like new GMO strains, advanced steel alloys and safer trains, to the insane, like electro-optical camouflages, warp drives, and wireless brain/machine interfaces.
Their most successful recent project has been the "Miniature Multimaterial Additive Printer" which has seen battlefield deployment on the MK6 Engineering, Combat, and Maintenance Powersuit. The suit lacks armor as a principle, instead focusing on movement and low weight, meaning the suit can access most terrains where fighting is certain. In this role, it is able to print spare parts, execute modifications and replace weapon systems, so long as base materials are available.
However being an engineering rig doesn't mean the mk6 is defenceless, but rather, quite effective in some cases. It gives the Engineer the survivability to get through a hotzone, and work in relative safety in that hotzone. The force multiplication abilities of the frame also let it service heavy equipment like tanks and mechs more effectively.

Panzeer-Buit "Erzankhangel" Heavy HT-Fighter
While Espocitan doctrine favors "Engery Manuverability" and "Kinetic Operations" shock doctrines, the Tectorian Landktar prefers slow rolling "Hyper Mobile Longform Jogging Siege" doctrine. This doctrine, funneled through their many defense contractors, has fueled some of the heaviest Humanoid-Type Fighters. The "Erzankhargel" is the finest example of this doctrine/design synthesis.
With the modern P-Khar Micro-Core as a central powerplant, this fighter can power multiple missile printers, as well as an "Electro-Driver" SMG. It can also handle the large gauge anti-armor "Kronstalc" ATGM. The armor is composite laminate titanium, with "Lei-line" shield projector stitching. While Tectorian shield projecting isn't quite near the same level as Espocitan "éureola" Damascus-Lei-Line Composite. However the sheer bulk of the armor keeps the "Erzankhargel" more than competitive on the battlefield.
Currently there are only 10 pilot vehicles, however serial production will be underway by Q3 of 2139 (Standard Quar Year Calendar)."

This year's list has some new dudes and some old favorites. The goal is the same: create something for each prompt, any medium, no pressure to do them all. Tag with #CryptidinJuly or #CryptidInJuly2023 so I can reblog everything!
Have fun!
For a thread of info about each cryptid I have a link to my Twitter in my bio.

Avian aliens can see UV light, centaurs and bug ferrets can’t see violet. Avian clothes look different depending on who you ask. (Featuring Sirawit in a cute little outfit)

hey new tumblr users
Welcome!
Now, I’m seeing a lot of posts about new arrivals to the site that are confused about the purpose and point of reblogging posts. I know that a lot of the sites you came from put a lot of emphasis on earning ‘points’ for your original posts and the only way to earn your own ‘points’ is to interact with others posts. Don’t get me wrong - we love it here when you add a comment, either to a post or in the tags, but that’s not the POINT of posts here (for the most part). The goal of a post here is to share.
You’ve got to think of tumblr less as a classroom where one person is teaching and more as a nature hike with friends.
You see a shiny rock you like. You pick it up. You show it to a friend. They like it and show it to their friend. Their friend puts a pair of googly eyes on it and passes it to their friend. Their friend runs off to share it with a group of their friends that are looking at bugs under a rock. You don’t HAVE to interact. All you have to do is share the rock with a friend because you know your friends might like to see the rock. Someone passes you a dandelion they picked. You think its cool and pass it to a friend you know likes the color yellow. They hand you a yellow leaf. You pass the leaf back to the dandelion friend.
The point of having a blog on tumblr is to share stuff that you think is cool with people that follow you. People will follow you because they think the stuff you’re scrapbooking on your blog is cool (or fun or weird or funny or heartfelt, etc). You can absolutely paint your own rock and share it with friends. But if all you do is pass on someone else’s painted rock because you think the people following your blog will like seeing it? That’s awesome too.
We’re not really about earning ‘points’ or ‘fame’ here - this is your scenic rest stop on the highway. We ARE about sharing.
So - share.
And if you want to add to what you’re sharing - that’s cool. But you don’t need to. As long as you’re sharing with your followers, you’re using this site the way its designed to be used.
See a cool rock? Reblog that rock so your followers can enjoy it too!

A Message to Fleeing Twitter Users from the Tumblrites
This place is a message and part of a system of messages: pay attention to it!
Sending this message was important to us. We considered ourselves to be a powerful culture.
This place is not a place of honor.
No highly esteemed deed is commemorated here.
Nothing of value is here.
What is here was dangerous and repulsive to us. This message is a warning about danger.
The danger is in a particular location. It increases towards a center. The center of danger is here of a particular size and shape, and below us.
The danger is still present in your time, as it was in ours.
The danger is to the body, and it can kill.
The form of the danger is an emanation of energy.
The danger is unleashed only if you substantially disturb this place physically. This place is best shunned and left uninhabited.
