Scottische Morvandelle (as in the movie Chocolat). Two accordions with avian accompaniment. Charming!

I was web surfing, looking for the source of the lovely Morvandelle at the end of Chocolat, and happened across this album. The artist has a lovely and direct feel for Bizet and Emmanuel. The Ronde practically...capers. Remarkable for a recording that must be on the order of 60 years old.Fun finding while I was looking at these: the Morvandelle in Chocolat is known as the 'Scottish' Morvandelle. Adopted from a German polka, it changed names during a period of strife between France and Germany. A very cute version can be found in my next post...
