Things I Realize and Love about Zayne's personality in Exclusive Tutorial

* He loves showing you off of his colleagues

* He keeps close to you specially when his colleagues are around

* He lets you have your way on him but never to the extent of humiliating you in public

* He is a true softy and really gets weak when you touch him

* He would take care of you. Not just your health but overall Aspect of you.

* He is a true gentleman, he will never touch you inappropriately even if you provoke him.

I keep replaying Exclusive Tutorial and giggling so here are my favorite lines that he says when you start poking him, in no particular order 👀:

Things I Realize and Love about Zayne's personality in Exclusive Tutorial Part. 2

* Zayne asked M/C (Are you certain? Someone could walk in any moment) When M/C didn't say no, he was ready to go down with the idea but the M/C then pushed him away. (Why????!!!!) Our Zayne is so disappointed, his eyes big and shocked.

* This is kinda ruthless on the M/C part. She kinda riled him up and then left him hanging. In true gentleman he is, he then carries her off of him and then continues to teach her pool.

* Since we represent the M/C we kinda send mixed signals not just with Zayne but with the other boys as well.

* By the way I got my wish on this card/memory. I finally saw him blush and it was so cute. ☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️

* I hope in the next memories and again, not just with Zayne but with all the boys, I hope the M/C just doesn't just rile them up. If they want to kiss, then kiss. If they want to hug, for heaven's sake and for my sanity, just hug!!!!! Something as simple as holding hands can be truly romantic if they have a good plot.

Summary: Zayne's girlfriend's platonic / one-sided relationships with Xavier and Rafayel

Mood: Pining, melancholy, slight angst

Xavier - Ungranted Wish

She would be closer to Xavier than Rafayel, mainly due to proximity. She and Xavier would game together after work or hang out at the arcade, with her teaching him strategies for the crane game. Xavier would spill upwards of $100 each visit thanks to his insistence that he "almost had it", but in reality, he just wants to prolong his time with her, and give her the opportunity to play as much as she wants

They’re at the arcade so often and they seem so comfortable with each other that the staff even start to think that they’re dating. It’s only when she gets a text from Zayne telling her that he’s finished work that the illusion is shattered. For both the staff and for Xavier, who flashes her a weak smile of understanding and regret when she takes off the moment she sees Zayne’s car pull up

"It’s okay," Xavier tells himself. Whenever Zayne works long nights, she’ll be at his place again and they can game or watch movies together until they both fall asleep on the couch. Whenever Zayne lets her down, Xavier will be there to pick her up again

Even though her heart doesn’t belong to him, being able to spend so much time with her is enough

After all, out of everyone in her life, he’s the one she spends the most time with. They’re together all work day and sometimes even all night

It only hurts when he calls out to her, asking what she wants to eat or what game she wants to play, only to see her texting Zayne on her phone with a smile so full of love and joy, a smile that would never be aimed at him

Rafayel - Burned by Ice

Rafayel has her by his side because he pays her to. Not a minute more, not a minute less. She’s there to do a job. That’s what he asked of her, right? So why does he always hope that she would see him any differently one day?

At the very least, she takes the job seriously, so while she’s on the clock with Rafayel, her phone is on silent. He’d try to impress her with his talents because of course she’d praise him, just like all the art critics around the world. But she’s no art critic. She’s a hunter. The only art she creates is the blood splatters left behind by the wanderers she's slaughtered

So when he presents her with a glorious painting of the little red fish that brought them together, surrounded by sunlight shining through the sparkling blue water, all she has to say is “...Nice fish”

Ah. The flames inside him would instantly be snuffed out, replaced by an icy grip on his heart. Even though he’s never met Zayne, he could feel his presence whenever he’d try to win her over, if only a little bit. Zayne’s girl wears his influence like a shield, rendering her immune to Rafayel's charms that usually wowed so many women so easily. The worst part isn't that she rejected him time and time again. It's that she doesn't even realize she's doing it

She’d look so innocently confused at how heartbroken Rafayel is when she gives him her praise of the painting, thinking it would have made him happy. But the artist would just brush it off and put the painting off to the side with the others instead of giving it to her. He’d have to try harder

The only time he ever feels a little close to her is when he'd annoy her enough to get a rise out of her. "You're acting like a child," he'd tell himself. "You're acting like a child," she'd admonish him

If acting like a brat got her to see him as something more than just another source of income, he'd take it. After all, she looks so cute when her face would scrunch up in annoyance whenever he'd find a new nerve to poke

But in the back of his mind, he'd wonder just how long he could push his luck before she finally quits and he'd never see her again. He'd have to find a way to win her over before he loses her forever

The Exlusive Tutorial (spoiler) card of Zayne is where I think mc is at her brattiest sHE ALSO KEEPS CALLING HIM SIR. Is miss girl ovulating in that card bc she kept teasing him in the ALUMNI EVENT i really thought they were at private room in a country club or smth.

Even if I want LnD to reference MLQC or even mention some of the characters in MLQC i think its rlly impossible 🫠 its cuz Loveland is on Earth and Linkon is on Philos so yea. I should have known bc this is and indirect sequel to mlqc after all but even just some smidge reference or mention of characters pls papergames 🥺

As someone who read all of the three boys' myth including the new myth of Rafayel... (myth spoilers)

I thoroughly believe MC deserves to have a villain arc if it weren't for her kind personality.

Miss girl gets in trouble bc of her heart and she doesn't even want it. She's born as the chosen one but not in a good context 😭

In Xavier's myth it was heavily implied that she's the bait to keep Philos alive.

In Rafayel's myth her heart needs to be carved out of her in order to fulfill the prophecy and it was implied that this keeps happening every god of sea prophecy. If it weren't for Rafayel stubbornly wanting to change the prophecy it wouldn't end. I mean looking at present timeline in game the sea certainly came back.

In Zayne's myth MC occasionally suffers bc of her heart painfully freezing her. And whenever she tries to reach out for the creatio protocore it would mean for Zayne to suffer on her behalf. And Zayne suffers bc of him loving her. wHICH ISNT EVEN WHAT SHE WANTED TO HAPPEN AT SHE JUST WANTS TO LIVE BUT ASTRA IS BEING A BITCH, AND ALSO FOR ZAYNE NOT TO SUFFER. Then like the other two this is on repeat too (the Jasmine fields.....)

Like she totally deserves the villain arc. Do you see the pattern here??? 😭 Xavier even mentioned that she lives for the people but not for herself and not even having a choice for herself. Princess! MC in Rafayel's myth is hyper aware that the people of her kingdom put her in the pedestal mainly bc of her heart. It was dehumanizing.

(Tbh i could be wrong with some information bc the myths is also written with "show don't tell" writibg in some parts like that's kinda horrible bc the myths are like 8 parts that's too short and leaving me to put them together is kinda disaster bc i sometimes cant read between the lines)

I only finished Zayne's myth right now but the symbolism of the Jasmine field at the end really put me in fight or flight bc I KNOW THAT TROPE SO WELL (im not talking abt flower language here im talking abt the ammount of jasmines there)

Now I'm actually waiting what kind of angst fest is the new myth card for Zayne, IF YOU HAVE FINISHED THE MYTH YOU KNOW

So we have some new anecdotes from the update and i can't stop thinking abt this part ofc im talking abt Zayne's parts in the update (spoilers)

This is the first time I heard of Zayne's parents tbh I thought he's orphaned due to what happen 14 yrs ago in the game and also bc i was speculating he have some more similarities w/ Dawnbreaker. But like now thinking abt it Dawnbreaker! Zayne situation is even more painful now, the Zayne we know have parents to go back abd visit to but Dawnbreaker was robbed by his world due to the odds against him. It would be messed up to think that Dawnbreaker would also see Zayne's parents in his dream and how Zayne is much much more normal in terms of living than him. The pain 🫠

aaaaand HERE WE GOOOO. Its totally confirmed one of the reason he became a doctor is bc of MC. Ik its implied a lot but I like that its really out there 😭. Then I saw the last one and it just totally reminds me of how his evol 🙃. This felt like a very slow progress into connecting Forseer Myth to our present storyline, I'm def ready for more of this.

Ok one last thing. We can get a PEAR! A PEAAAR themed chat bubble 😭😭😭 but i have no motivation to like actually go through Spare Time achievements lmao
