i guess they were but i haven't ever worried about what people think? i don't know if anyone would have believed me. i think the whole internet knows we both wrote songs about each other. it would have been very confusing so i'm glad i didn't. the last thing i'd want to see are even more comments. i'll accept it, for now. maybe i will now, just to see what you'll do.

And people were freaking out about it - should have came out and said you were there to see Dua. That would have been hilarious. Especially since a lot of people know the songs I've written are about our time together so the confusion would have been real. it is and it can be scary but in the best way. things have slowed down? i think you should enjoy that. if you're willing to travel, you can come to one of my other shows? otherwise we can just see each other when we do and you can see me do my thing whenever you are able.

It's just so fun opening yourself up and knowing that there are so many others out there that can sorta relate to you and what you've gone through. Things on my end has slightly slowed down for now, and it won't ramp back up until end of August. So, I'll see what I can do! I'll see for myself when I go out and see you.

that is true. there are some things better left untouched. though other things can be redone. though i'm still amazed at some of the sequels that are coming out. jennifer love hewitt is indeed, a legend. it can? it depends on what time sound check is and when i need to be at the venue. they have to make sure everything is just right and i'm usually there a few days early to rehearse. sometimes, depending on my schedule, i'm there a few days after and i have free time.

i can understand that. i think perhaps the issue is what projects they're choosing to remake. choosing perfection to try to recreate is just silly. but if the original was trash, why not give it another attempt to get it right? as long as they don't try to reboot obx in ten years or something. that would piss me off. right? jennifer love hewitt is such a badass. i'm obsessed with her. and does a show take over your whole day? genuine question - i'm not a musician, i don't know how touring works.

i didn't have anywhere to be and i knew what you had going on. i thought you'd remember i like making grand gestures. even if it's just for friendship. thank you, good to hear. i won't let people tell me what i should and shouldn't do with my music. i have a love for that genre but that isn't all i want to explore.

I just didn't expect you to come to a whole other country to see me. That's some next level sort of thing, Dami. And don't get me wrong - I do appreciate your support, always. it probably won't ever get less shocking. i think that's what anyone in our industry experiences when releasing something. your fan base is very loyal and it's amazing. it started a little while ago but i have plenty of shows coming up. i'm currently in europe but my next show in the states will be in chicago in august.

It is something we know will happen, but I don't think it ever gets any less shocking. If that makes sense? Like after all these years people still listen to our music and follow us faithfully. Did tour just start for you? Cause if it did then I'll have to come and check out a show!

i am one of those people who prefers something new and original. i feel like it's been nothing but remakes. though, the trailer made it look amazing. plus the fact that they brought back some of the actors from the original. i might have a show that day but like i said, i'll be sure to go see it.

oh - why's that? are you one of those people who are all for original content and against a remake? i see both sides, so i do get it. i'm glad the trailer won you over, though. i like to think that we did a pretty good job with it, so hopefully you can find the time and you enjoy it. pencil july 18th into your calendar, okay? you won't regret it, i promise.

i told you that i'll be your biggest supporter. even if we aren't together, i'm still that. life tends to throw surprises our way when we don't expect it. i am enjoying it, it's crazy and intense but it's amazing. i love how receptive everyone has been.

Surprise is one word for it - I didn't think that you would be showing up. I'm more than alright, Dami. I mean - performing at Wembley for one of my first live performances? How is this my life?
