Conservatives supported the Voice. The co-design report that put forward structures and ideas for creating a Voice was produced under the Coalition, but then Labor won and Dutton has been using it as a political wedge ever since. Dutton was slamming it in the recent Fadden by-election even though it's not an election issue. Conservatives have been arguing the inclusion of "executive government" in the amendment is dangerous even though they helped write that into it.
The Coalition have taken the historic opportunity to recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and empower them with a constitutionally protected Voice and turned it into a chance to score points against Labor. If the Voice loses they'll try and twist it into the public rejecting Labor - when it isn't.
It's despicable and gross. The Coalition doesn't give a shit about Indigenous people's opinions or perspective. The Coalition has seen an opportunity to throw Indigenous people under the bus to try and erode support for Labor. It's not just hypocrisy it's malice. Vote yes. For the love of god vote yes.

Man I hate to say it so I'm not main tagging it but
Gabrielle from Xena often comes off as a damsel in distress and it feels like the writers? Are trying to cover for this by giving her the gradual ability to fight
Except her being sidelined so often kinda exposes it more?
Another thing I'll say is that I wish Callisto were the second main character!
