missing my boy a little more than usual today, so i went through my old files & found some amazing pictures of him. he was my rock. my everything. he got me through so many hard times, & by the time he got to his last months, i think he knew i was okay & that i would be okay again. he was waiting for me to be in a safe place, have safe people around me to leave. he truly taught me so many things, & loved me in no way a human could. i miss him every day. i miss you, smokey joe. i hope you’re running through fields & soaking in the sun every day, wherever you are.💙
