Fabp aka Fabpz the Freelancer - Sounds From Tha Treeline #Rap #Reggae @therealfabp
Fabp aka Fabpz the Freelancer is the current Stage name, back in 2001 the name was Fabulous p. it was changed because Fabolous came out with the name. Pete Atkinson is my real name im 36 I attended I.A.R in NYC I Engineer and makes beats using Reason with a Synth and Protools. Hip Hop & Dancehall is my main genre. my major influences is Busta Rhymes, LL Cool J, Jay-z, Bounty Killer and Lady Saw.

Music was always my passion from my Teenage years back in the 90’s I started to juggle records on my friends Sound System called Black Gold Sound System and going to Open Mic Sessions with my other Peeps. I started to produce Beats and Rhymes officially in 2006 after I attended I.A.R for the first time and at that point I decided to make Music my Career. My Record Label is called X-Calade Promotionz and im a Member of ASCAP. I use a Roland Keyboard with Reason to Compose my Beats. The equipment didn’t cost much but it gets the Job done.
I am currently using a MXL 990 Condenser Mic for my Vocals. I’m not currently performing maybe I’ll start up when I get some more Fan appreciation. my Favorite Venues would be the Open Mic circuits in New York cause I like the Vibes I get from the Massive, Big Ups to my old Homies for the Links. When ever or if I Perform I would do a song Called Jook Out De Gal Dem it’s one of my original Songs. I don’t record or Perform Covers I write my original Songs better yet I Freestyle my songs with Topics about Girls Booty and the Clothes they wear and I do joints about what’s popping with the Kid I also rhyme about the Jump pan Sounds who can’t DJ. My whole song process starts with the Instrumental Riddim that I produce then I do the Vocals. I don’t write before Produce the Beats cause the beat helps me to build the Vybe for the Song. I try to do Songs everyday of the Week but it does not always happen cause the vibes sometimes around me is dead and most times its also live and well. Its pretty major to me the ways my song writing skills as improved cause I can remember not completing one song in a Week to now completing many joint per month. I went from not having my own style of Flow to finding my own niche. The biggest Challenge for me as a Artist is when I left the Music Industry to join the Military I had to leave all my connects behind but that move is still good cause I was able to meet new connects that created weekend gigs for me so i would jam with them and record our selves before posting the finished product on the Web .I’m looking to broaden my Fan base by getting my Joints out to the masses and I’m not really stressing the Fortune and Fame cause it will come with the hard work and creative discipline. I would tell up coming acts that If music is your passion don’t stop keep doing your thing and Keep your day job cause you will need the Funds to make moves just in case your Music don’t sell. I have learned that it take a lot of skills to win people over cause it pretty tough out there as an Independent Artist. If you would like to download My latest joints my Web Address is www.X-CaladePromotionz.com a place where you can find Beats, Mixtapes and some serious Fabp joints. I would like to Salute and big Up all the Major Label Artists and Radio Stations that I’ve listened to and Big up to all my Artist homies in real life for paving the way, so make sure to Download everything you Streaming. Shieldsss - Talk Of The Town @shieldshayden
Shieldsss
Shieldsss dropping dancehall tracks with two goals, versatility and quality music for the people. It all started in 2014, where, from never touching a microphone, Shieldsss decided to become a top entity in dancehall music. Even though experience and nationality were factors against this musical venture,,,,,,natural musical talent and of course….LYRICS LYRICS LYRICS.

The reward for this artist is what he saw the same day the track “Career” was recorded; bumping to this song cranked at 10 in the car and kids walking by stop to dance and groove. “That right there is all I need to write another track” When asked about describing himself, Shieldsss simply said…..’I fear no man, music is life and jah is love’ Humble beginnings define his music, raised in a musical household on Mendoza (DOZA) in San Juan, Trinidad. Shieldsss saw the double edge of an exceptionally dangerous neighborhood and how the types of music played influenced people for both good and bad. So to inspire a good feeling through listening to his music is what he feels like is his responsibility to contribute to his listeners. Dropping over 40 songs in less than a year……you can literally visit his youTube page and see the versatility and unique lyrical delivery style. Logical Entertainment would like to introduce to you the artist Shieldsss, with these rough cut recordings. Well expressed dancehall, rich and colorful in content with enough vibration to move you and your thoughts. That is the expectation he delivers to the world in his rapidly increasing entourage of recordings. TO THE WORLD

Exco Levi drop new video for hit single "Siren" @Excolevi
4 time JUNO award winner Exco Levi’s newest track SIREN, hits the airwaves June 10th ahead of his strong summer performance schedule and induction into the Brampton Arts Walk of Fame. Opening with the scene of a man desperate as he is cornered by a squad of police officers, the music video for SIREN brings lyricist Exco Levi’s stark and riveting words to life about a mother’s only son who has gone wild.
SIREN tells a dark and gritty story about the crime and hardship in the inner city of Kingston, Jamaica where the child ‘raised by a village’ gets wild and has ‘nowhere to run to’. Levi’s syncopated roll on the words ‘to-run-to’, brings Toronto into the scene – universalizing the tale of good kid gone bad.
Watch “Siren” official video:

Drum and bass, like the pace of the chase and wailing sax are the perfect back drop for Levi’s powerful vocals as the siren literally wails through the danceable track produced by Reggaeville & Oness Records. The SIRENvideo was shot in Kingston, Jamaica, by videographer Damion Gayle. With lyrics written by Exco Levi, this is another notch on his belt with almost 100 songs in his career. SIREN will be the 5 time JUNO nominee’s first track of summer. SIREN is a sizzler that will surely have the music lovers talking, as the lyrics tackle the subject of the struggle of growing up and not heeding the warnings of friends and family. SIREN will be available on ITUNES and all online stores June 10th.
EXCO LEVI and his HighPriest band play Dundas Square June 24th and Harbourfront Centre’s Island Soul with Jah 9 on July 30th. He makes his first appearance at Festival D’ÉTÉ DE QUÉBEC with Protoje on July 10th and will rock the stage at Markham Fairgrounds alongside Yellowman and Ritchie Spice on the second day of JAMBANA™ One World Festival on August 1st.

Inspired by Real Events, Reggae Artist ORieL Releases “Babylon System” Single and Video Simultaneously
“Life imitates Art far more than Art imitates life” – Oscar Wilde
Truer words were never spoken as reggae recording artist ORieL drew from an unfortunate incident that took place over Memorial weekend in Pittsburgh, and put pen to paper to tell his story. Known for setting unprecedented moves in Reggae such as last year release of 2 EPs on the same day, ORieL has released “Babylon System” single and video simultaneously.

As the artist prepared to take stage at the annual Kaya Fest, ORieL and his bandmate were detained by Pittsburgh PD for smoking marijuana inside his tour bus. They were the first to be cited under the city’s newly formed marijuana citation law. In retrospect of the event, ORieL is releasing “Babylon System aka #Duttybabylon”, a track inspired by this recent encounter. Written by ORieL and produced by ORieL and his long time producer Ludwig, “Babylon System aka #Duttybabylon” uses a sample from Barrington Levy “Under Mi Sensi”, as ORieL sings “Light up the chalice mek we bun down rome babylon ahh devil themem waan take my soul give what they want, keeping what you need microchips, designer kicks, addicted to the images but anytime babylone come around put on me clarks, kick babylon down no babylon could never take my crown, I just shake my locks and babylon drop down. We gonna fight, no, no babylon is not gonna win tonight..”
“Babylon Systen” video was filmed in studio, directed and edited by #FarEye.

Recording Artist K’Coneil Releases “Hot Like You” (90s Don Dada Riddim)
International recording artist K’Coneil has released “Hot Like You”, the lead single off his upcoming “Love/Lust” 2016 EP. Produced by acclaimed billboard producer Seanizzle, the hit bound single on the 90’s Don Dada Riddim has been blazing both the airwaves and dance floors.
The song written by K’Coneil, his long time writing partner Reggaetwin Gairy Blake ad Seannizle, glorifies independent women who are confident in their “hotness” factor regardless of society’s views and standards. “You got The body of an angel Mi nah lie you summin turn up. You’re sexy figure is amazing Anywhere you touch burn up, You buy anything you want, You no cotch a gal yard. Cause it pay for with the na na, You no park like trailer pon no corner, You no par with gal dem wa mash up the partner” Sings K’Coneil
Speaking on the song’s inspiration, he recalled an earlier encounter “The day that I was on my way to the studio to work on the song; I stopped at a gas station to get some water and I saw a super hot girl pull up in a nice vehicle; I would have offered to pumped her gas but I was in Kingston and it’s full service so I couldn’t, that’s how hot she was! So it was just right place right time because I was writing something else the night before and I threw it out and started afresh after seeing that girl. She’s probably hearing the song as we speak and don’t even she inspired it. I hope to see her again one day…”
Featured among Grammy-award winner Beenie Man, Bounty Killer and Konshens among other notables of dancehall and reggae music, is a feat that K’Coneil humbly takes in stride “Being on a Riddim with some of dancehalls greatest is not just a honor but a blessing I think I told Seanizzle thanks over a million times already lol”

K’Coneil Born on the beautiful island of Jamaica, K’Coneil was raised in the village of Granville in Montego Bay. It was there amid family and friends that at an early age he was indoctrinated in music by singing in the church at the urging of his beloved grandmother.
Coming from a musical family, music was embedded in his DNA, but not to be stereotyped, education played a major importance in the young artist life. At the age of 16 he migrated to the United States on a full soccer scholarship where he attained his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance. But there was no denying his musical calling, and while in college K’Coneil joined a group called GAM (Godly Anointing Men) who would go onto performing at the prestigious Madison Square Garden.
Music bridges people around the world. No matter one’s place of birth, economic class or skin color, it all evokes a human feeling and K’Coneil’s is no different. A vocalist influenced by his reggae roots and the Musical melting pot of his urban surroundings in New York City, K’Coneil sounds admittedly, doesn’t classify by the industry standards. Rather than to be boxed, K’Coneil created his own lane of sonic perfection, that can only be classified as being “genre fluid,” by comfortably fusing rhythms, genres and sounds from Reggae, Dancehall, R&B and Pop.
Honing his musical craft by writing and voicing for notable producers, K’Coneil has received heavy rotation on various worldwide airwaves, while touching the stage alongside some of the biggest name in music.
“As a blend of Sean Paul and Usher, I see K’Coneil as the promissory voice of the future. His dancehall flavor mixed with the pop yet edgy appeal is one that makes you want to dig a little deep and hear more” says billboard recording producer Seanizzle.

Reggae artist ORieL detained by Pittsburgh Police @orielrevoluters
Pittsburgh, PA (MPR Consulting) – An unfortunate familiar scene took place over Memorial weekend at the annual Kaya Fest in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania when reggae recording artist ORieL and his bandmate were detained by Pittsburgh PD for suspicion of Marijuana possession. The humble artist scheduled performance to an eager crowd was delayed after an officer reported smelling marijuana, and called for backup. Speaking on the incident, ORieL stated “We were briefly detained for smoking a spliff in the tour van. I asked the officer why he was drawing his firearm, because we were doing as he asked, our hands were up, and the spliff was put out. “Why use a cannon to kill a mosquito ?” Why not work out an amicable solution? His approach is the reason that many situations like this end up with people getting injured for no reason.”
The artist added “Music and herb go together, society knows this. The idea that cannabis makes you hostile, etc etc is an outdated concept in this modern society. Many a prison and policing budget depend on keeping the status quo. Thats one thing, but the bigger issue is the approach and how police deal with us on a day to day basis.“
With the utmost respect for the law, this hasn’t dithered ORieL’s respect for those who take the oath to protect and serve. “I support officers who are maintaining and providing protection to the people, not bullies with badges and guns. The motto of the police force is to protect and serve, and we need more officers who aim to uphold their pledge to society and not the ones intending to stroke their own egos by misusing and abusing their power. People don’t trust the police, and situations like this only perpetuate an already broken system.  We need to find new ways of policing that can transform. You cannot continue to do the same things and expect different results, you cannot arrest or ticket your way out of prohibition. Musicians, painters, nurses, patients all sort of people perform the age old tradition of burning a spliff and that is never going to stop.“
Despite the delays, the vibes were in full effect and ORieL delivered a memorable performance to an audience of every race, creed and class who were all united by music.
Wishing to move past the events of the night, ORieL lastly added “The police need to develop a more open mindset and approach unique situations with the same humility and respect that we show to them.  Excessive use of power in these situations not only damages the relationship between the police and the community, but is a waste of resources. We need people power to move towards a more community-based method of policing. Way up.” – ORieL
