I feel like people fall in love too easily. You don’t know what love is until she’s right next to you, but you want to be closer. Until you stay up late to watch her sleep peacefully. Until you have your first fight, and realize how much she really means to you. Until you adventure beautiful places, but still think she’s the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen. Until she has consumed every part of your mind, every second of the day. Until you wake up at 4 in the morning and give her a kiss on the head before going back to sleep. Until you can’t picture yourself being with anyone else. Until you drive around and catch yourselves screaming song lyrics from 2010. Until you look into her eyes and think, “fuck, I want to marry this girl”. You don’t know what love is until it really hits you, and I promise, it’ll hit you really hard.

And I learned ‘You deserve better’ was sometimes no more than a synonym for ‘I don’t want to hurt you, and I want you to be happy, but I don’t love you anymore.

You are going to break your promise. I understand. And I hold my hands over the ears of my heart, so that I will not hate you.

I really want to get better as a dancer but i go to a small unknown studio and i feel like everyone at school judges me because I'm not as good as them and i don't go to a big expensive studio! I take ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, contemporary and solo classes but i want to get more flexible and achieve ariels etc... I would like to join gymnastics (or a bigger studio) but my mum won't let me. what should i do?? p.s. i love your blog and as i write this i am sitting here stretching! xoxo <3
Don't worry about what other people think. If dance is really your passion, then nothing any other student thinks should change that. And about advancing yourself, practice outside of the studio (turns, jumps, leaps, simple tricks, etc) until you feel you're comfortable to do more. Find a friend from another studio to help you do your tricks and whatnot.

Hey I'm 16 and a high school senior. When you graduate high school, you also graduate my dance school. I wanna keep dancing in a school. Are there schools out there for like older teens to young adults in their 20s? And are there competitions for adult dancers or are they just for kids? Thanks!
There are competitions for adults, you just have to look into it. And usually when you go to college (if thats the path you've chosen), they have multiple dance teams and organizations you can join! Also, look around your area and see if any studios provide adult classes. I know the srudio i work for does! Good luck!

What's the name of that turn where you just keep going on relevé then put your foot down then go on relevé again then put your foot down and your arms like open then close then open again over and over >_< sorry I just don't know the name for it because I want to learn how to do it. Any tips on how to do it?
All i can really think of is either turns in second, or fuoetes (sp?). Other than that, idk, but i hope this helped!

Hi love the blog. I am 14 right now and have only been dancing since i was 11 and my new school had dance lesson as part of the curriculum. I am part of a dance company open to students from my school. I really love dancing and my teacher tells me i am good at it but then i see girls who have been dancing since they were 3 and my confidence drops. Do you have any advice to help me with this? Thanks :)
One of the hardest things for me is also comparing myself to others. PLEASE TRY TO AVOID THIS! You are never going to be exactly like someone else, so don't bother dwelling on that fact...if you work hard and dedicate yourself you will be the absolute best that you can, and that's what matters. Chin up, lovely! xoxo

December 6th.
There is a definite difference between dancing and feeling something.
Dancing can be very rewarding but embodying a dance and just feeling each movement is worth much more.
So let it consume you. Let the movement be you.
