Wait. Personality test. Reblog with whether you hate it when someone sings along to the music in the car or you think singing along is cool. Personally, I HATE it.

P.S. YOU CAN VOTE MULTIPLE TIMES
AND YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE IN THE US
Hello! Would you like to annoy an asshole Republican U.S. House Representative? Because in addition to not allowing one of my relatives to unsubscribe from his little propaganda newsletters, he doesn't know how to lock down a survey:
Go ahead and vote! You don't need to submit an email address :)

There’s certain hobbies and interests that aren’t inherently conservative or regressive but do attract a lot of people who are those things or worse and when you’re a progressive person involved in those hobbies hearing that someone else is interested in your hobby usually has to involve some “But are you normal about it?” conversations before you get too excited

Mosquitoes actually are not replaceable in any ecosystem that naturally has them and that includes replacing them with any of the non biting species because these are the traits that make them so core to food webs:
Tiny
Can use every single pool of moisture to raise generations no matter how dirty and stagnant and low in oxygen
Can fly
Males get by on just sugars
Females take protein from larger animals to manufacture thousands more eggs
All these things combined allow thst ecosystem to make huge volumes of insects from conditions barren to most other macroscopic life. You might think there are other insects that seem to make huge massive swarms out of nothing but there's really nothing that hits all the same qualities *except other insects that also suck blood.*
It's the precise combo of being able to "prey" on things millions of times larger and breed in nothing but a few drops of filthy rainwater or the moisture in a rotten log. That's the most efficient combination for anything that size to multiply that rapidly where nothing else can even survive, except of course the things that can move in because they eat them :)

1,000 battles fought.
SIXTY-THREE Lilium Floron encounters.
That is a 6.3% encounter rate for those who aren't aware.
And of those 63 encounters, 35 yielded petals.
35 out of 63 isn't a terrible drop rate, but SIXTY-THREE ENCOUNTERS OUT OF 1,000 IS BLOODY ABYSMAL.
I ENCOUNTERED THOSE DAMNED POHIPS MORE OFTEN THAN I ENCOUNTERED LILIUM FLORONS.
AND DON'T GET ME STARTED ON THOSE STUPID FOXES AND WOODEN DEER OR THE HERDS OF UNICORNS THAT APPARENTLY SWARM THE GROVE
Man, either Flight Rising's RNG hates me, or it's broken as HELL.
I need to fight Lilium Florons in order to get 75 Dried Lilium Petals for crafting.
Dried Lilium Petals are described as having an "uncommon drop rate." There is no information regarding the rarity of Lilium Floron encounters, but you'd think you would encounter them at least UNCOMMONLY, right?
WRONG!
I am currently sitting at 700 battles out of a planned 1000-battle block.
I have encountered Lilium Florons FORTY-SIX times out of those 700 battles. That's a 6.5% encounter rate.
Those forty-six battles have yielded a whopping TWENTY-EIGHT PETALS.
Imma be blunt here, HAVING TO FIGHT SEVEN HUNDRED BATTLES FOR TWENTY-EIGHT ITEMS IS RIDICULOUS.
Am I mad because I just had to fight 100 battles for ONE goddamn Dried Lilium Petals? MAYBE JUST A LITTLE.
Am I EXTRA upset because I should be able to get the materials I need out of ONE THOUSAND GODDAMN BATTLES? YOU BEST BET YOUR SKIVVIES I AM.
I understand needing to make players work for things, but at some point that becomes Nintendo Hard, and that is not a compliment. Nobody likes Nintendo Hard. Nintendo Hard Is Not Fucking Fun.
It should not be Nintendo Hard to get 75 items for a bloody gene.

At some point soon, I could use some help in how to set up a good reference sheet for a first commission, and I'd figure that someone who knows this shit like you'd be the one to ask?
It's pretty simple, actually!
This is how I generally do refs - a clean lineart view, so that details don't get lost in darker spots, a front and back view, a color key, and (totally optional) alternate detail views and a sample outfit.
The front/back views in particular should have little to no shading at all, preferably totally flat colors but as long as you have that color key for the artist to pick from, you should be good.

Oh dear, I hope I didn't come off as art begging or anything. I just wanted to figure out how to be easy to work with as a client.
Oh, no, you're fine, my brain just checked out on me before I could answer lmao It's been a rough couple of... well, months :')

a secret they dont tell you is that you dont need to have a set time and place for exercise. sure going to the gym is gonna give you a more dedicated workout but like if you're physically able to you can just jog on the spot while your food is cooking. brushing your teeth? do a couple of squats. sometimes i drop to the floor and plank until my arms hurt and then go on with my day. if you live a sedentary lifestyle its better than nothing.
